I am talking about the majority of the population who are overweight, obese, fat, lard asses. WTF are they thinking when they go to the all-you-can-eat buffet, load up a plate full of ham, eat the whole 5 lb helping, then go back and do it again? WTF are they thinking when they follow-up the ham with mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken, and pot roast?
I sit in horror watching these idiots waddle up to the buffet over and over again. Huge flaccid flaps of flab flopping around as they ladle yet another heaping helping of blubber onto their plates.
This is not a rhetorical qusetion. I really want to know, WTF are they thinking? By the way, these 300 - 500 lb freaks and their bloated children should have to pay more then I, a health and fitness conscious, 150 pounder pays. And who the hell is impregnating the women? Why do they procreate? It's really disgusting, there ought to be a law.

My in-laws(on my wife's father's side) are obese people. It's really sad. They're all in their 40's and I only expect them to be around another 20 years. But whatever. My wife and I on the other hand are in great shape and will hopefully live to be 100.

Did you guys ever see the Simpsons' episode where Homer and the Pirate dude settle on a deal for that "buffet" dispute? He and his wife are exhibited as a freak show, and it shows him gobbling away while Marge cries.
THAT is a perfect example of society today. Here are a few tidbits from my previous employment in fast food:
-fat woman and husband come in, and when they reach the counter, the woman says "Ohhh I'm SOOOOOOOO full!", and rubs her fat stomach. I didn't care about "good" customer service, I looked away in disgust.
-fat dude comes in to get a drink, and LEANS on the side of the counter while in line, and then leans on another counter when it's his turn.
-waddling fat people.

I'm giving you a -1 because your rant wasn't very...umm...coherent?
While I believe that there are some folks that are genetically predisposed to obesity, I think the real problem is our American way of life - that is to say, the American way of living in excess.
We (myself not included) drive bigass SUVs to haul our fat asses to Taco Bell for a handful of 1lb burritos. We then drive to Costco or BJs or Sams Club to buy a couple 3lb boxes of cereal, a 5 gallon tub of beef jerky, a case of snickers bars, a couple fork-lift pallets of Pepsi and enough paper towel rolls to soak up a swimming pool.
Do all of these bulk good last longer because we buy them in bulk? No. We just end up eating more and using more and wasting more...and spending more.
BULK is the American way! Everything around us encourages us to live that way - "GET MORE FOR LESS!" "CRUNCH ALL YOU WANT, WE'LL MAKE MORE!" "BUY NOW - LOW FINANCING!" "500 DING DONGS FOR THE PRICE OF 400 - WHAT A DEAL!!!" "ALL YOU CAN EAT - $6.99!"
