The UCP is a beniegn network of Uber users that seek only equality. To qoute the Comindant of Nuclear Arms (AlahAckbar):
Lately, many users have been creating multiple user names to go back and +2 their posts, in response to people "spamming" the post with a -2. These users, who shall remain nameless, have often brought this apon themselves due to retaliating against people who -2 their posts. The end result? A spamming war, bringing peoples hit counts up, and causing mass chaos as the more important recently written items are kicked off of the most recently reviewed board and replaced with nothing but their posts.
The UCP wants to put an end to this. Through mass ratings, we hope to prove that someones rating is nothing more than a number. We hope to put an end to the spamming, and end to retalitory -2's, and an end to lack of pie.
So far we have managed to to add quite a following for the Uber Communist Party.

It seems there is a misunderstanding. I did not imply these users were a part of the UCP, just that we should extend the hand of freindship. Maybe give them some of our pie. Maybe a little Vodka. A truce, so to speak.

A 1.5 or higher on a post is usually a decent predictor of quality - nobody has time to read everything and without ratings the temptation would be to just scan for the posts of established users rather than dip into something new.
Who cares if Fetish et al indulge in retaliatory -2's and spamming their own posts? Anyone with an ounce of sense picks up on it pretty quickly and learns not to bother with their shit. You want the spammers and the cockheads to stop? Stop giving them hits. Stop talking about them. Stop fucking pandering to their whims. You'll notice that anyone who is good at this posting lark doesn't bother with the feuds and the retribution ratings. Seek them out and put them on the Most Recently Reviewed, rather than trying to start some bullshit clique of people who have already become established names precisely because of the ratings system.
