the day after september 11th i went to work, because contrary to earlier speculation, life did infact go on.

YEAH! I was in grade 11 when it happenned, and the day after or w/e, the principal (who was an old lady who everyone hated, and she was new) started ACTING like Bush! She installed security cameras, cracked down on dress-code violations (even though it wasn't a uniform school), and said that "We will not tolerate violence", which was kids getting into fights or whatnot.
The day it happenned, my civics teacher told us about the grade 9 class he was teaching when it happenned, and they were listening to it on the radio, and some kids were laughing and saying it was this Paki student, and he just RIPPED ON THEM!
Anyway, the point? I had to go to school the next day! They should fucking make 9/11 a national holiday, even for Canada (because we sucked up to them during it), where people don't have to do SHIT!
