After reading about yet another set of Ubercon plans, reports, hootenannies, parties, celebrations and hoedowns, I've realized one thing. There has never been an Ubercon Canada.
GASP!
SHOCK!
HORROR!
Although it is slightly sad that in a country larger than the U.S, it has to be called Ubercon Canada, us Canadians are probably used to that. So what does everyone think? I live in Hamilton, and know at least two other users that live here, and I'm sure there's more just in the surrounding area (cough cough... Toronto.)
Anybody interested? Everyone's welcome to come, but I'll need some help if this becomes serious.
This is what i got when i searched for "ubercon." See? So much fun to have.

I like the idea, but any kind of inagural UberCan (heh heh snot, I'm so clever) should be held in Montreal. Toronto would be good, too, I am sure, and in a few years, I might eb better equipped to host one during Stampede...

That's a good question. Of course, people may want to hang out with other people, as I'm not sure that I'll even be able to make it. Or, people may wish to hang out with a person who is not a complete dick.
Actually polyamorous, i want to take this chance to offer an apology. I've been gone for awhile, and i'd like to think that I grew up while i was gone. Why don't we just forget our old grudges and start fresh. sound good?

I am officially renaming this Ubercon Toronto.
Even though I would like for it to happen in Hamilton, Toronto is just more well known.
Hamilton has two things that it's famous for.

British Columbia is the faggiest goddamn place you can imagine- after Alberta. Albertans are the worst people you will ever encounter, ever. They're like Texans but with unprecedented arrogance and stupidity. Newfoundlanders come across as people who have been fucked around their entire lives, and that's probably right. Something about being in dead centre of the country feels good. In Manitoba, assholes can only come at us from three sides, and most of the time we can hear them coming.

As a note to anyone who might visit Canada, there is an area between B.C and Ontario. I'm not going to go into detail on it, but just know that this beats Iowa as the most boring place in the universe.
