I like ubersite. I like having somewhere I can read and write.
But, I do not ever want to meet anyone from ubersite. I have my own, real-life friends and can't imagine meeting up with someone I only knew the screen name of. I can just imagine it:
"Hi, I'm <hot_chick_84> - what's your name?" "LOL, my name is <hot_dude_84>. OMG, we cud be like sisters". I know that I for one don't need that in my life.
We're internet geeks - isn't that bad enough without having to have a convention? I mean, where does it stop? Today a quiet drink, tommorow a yellow spandex suit...
It's a short post, but I think I've made my point.

I found this whilst at work. Going places, meeting new people, and getting drunk.
Lots of things wrong with that.
