What do you all say?
I own a remote mansion ranch in rural Texas that would be perfect for the greatest Ubercon this side of the Rio Grande. We can make it a party that lasts all weekend long. In the day everyone can ride my horses or drive my ATV's. In the evenings everyone can relax by the pool and get wasted off of beer, wine, and spirits. It should be a rollickingly good time. I have plenty of bedrooms for guests and I even have a few tents if you would rather sleep under the canopy of stars. That is, of course, if any sleeping takes place the whole weekend.
On the last day of ubercon I will hand out a pair of black Nike sneakers to everyone and give everyone a white robe. Then I will give everyone a glass of poisoned punch and we will all lay on the floor. It will be mass suicide ubercon style! Let's face it, all of you people who meet your friends through the internet obviously have nothing to live for anyway, so why not?! If everything goes as planned you can abandon your pathetic earthly existence and take up residence on the spaceship that follows Haley's comet.
How does somewhere around Octoberish sound?

Well, what do you know? I just now get my internet back and I find that there's an Ubercon just a stones throw away from me. I'll try to show up, I have family visiting me in October, but if they're not here for the days that it's happening I'll be there.

You should shoot for Oct. 15 - 17. The 15th is a Friday and at my college, we have that Friday off. I don't know if other colleges do, but hey, you said mid-Octoberish. Sound good?
