Here is a song I wrote and recorded for your listening enjoyment...It's a bit sad, so don't cry. Please excuse the less than stellar recording quality as it was done on an 8-track Tascam analog cassette recorder. Also, at the time, I really didn't know what I was doing...but here it is anyway. I know how much Ubersite just LOVES music.

The Catch-22 of Nihilism
I crouch among the undergrowth
hoping that my face gets lost.
Wandering through clumbsy scenes,
I'd feel relieved to feel at home.
Filtering through infinite dreams,
it finally seems I've found what's real,
when all at once the illusion drops
and reality never stops changing.
Sometimes I wonder if I even matter at all.
Have my footprints already been made for me?
Do I have a choice in the matter at all,
or am I a slave unto destiny?
I see before my feet a path
that exists, though, yet, unrealized.
And even when I'm wide awake,
Some dream still has me hypnotized.
I guess I'm living in resistence
to limiting myself by choosing,
but all at once the illusion drops
and reality never stops changing...
How did I ever get started in meaninglessness?
Surely, it was in looking for meaning!
Why is it I'm always searching in emptiness
for the tiniest shadow of anything?
