Julia Child
1912-2004
Famed chef and television personality Julia Child passed away Thursday, August 12th. Arguably the most famous cook of the modern era with television appearances spanning almost four decades, Child died in her Santa Barbara, California home three days before her 92 birthday.
Julia will be cut into ¾" strips and marinated* for twenty-four hours. The Julia strips will then be dried in a smoker for approximately 12 hours at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Afterward, this Julia jerky will be packed in jars (with perforated lids, to prevent molding) and put up on a shelf.

* Julia Marinade
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp curing salts of your choice (Tenderquick, Instacure, or Prague Powder)
1 tbsp Onion powder
1 tbsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp black Pepper
1/4 cup of Soy or Teriyaki Sauce
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
