Ok I'm taking this idea from a forum I spend a lot of time on. I think a couple of people on here are from that forum, actually.
Anyways, it works like this:
The first thirty people to sign up are in the game. Once all thirty have signed up I will choose one of you at random to be the murderer, so please leave your email address on your sign up reply so that I can contact you.
The remaining twenty nine will be townsfolk. Once the murderer is chosen he/she will send me daily emails to inform me of who they have murdered, how they have murdered them and where they murdered them.
The murderer must leave a clue in some of the murders so that it's easier for the remaining 29 townsfolk to determine who it is. Every time there is a murder the townsfolk must vote for who they personally believe the murderer to be.
The person with the most votes will then be lynched. If the person you have lynched is innocent the game will continue until the murderer is found.
I will post a list of the thirty people in the game once all thirty have signed up.
Don't forget to leave your email or your aim so that I can contact you.

Fuck it we can play with 14. Just wont be a very long game. Right so the list of players is below. Once the first murder has been commited I will write up a coroners report and Tim will post it in a seperate post. There will be a post for each murder and you shall vote in that post and that post only. Seeing as we are all in different places I cannot really give a time limit so we shall say that lynchings will take place once all 14 players have voted. If after a day not all players have voted we will just carry on without them for that lynching. This doesn't mean they have lost their place in the game. Just their vote for that day. To whoever I pick as murderer don't forget to make the murders interesting. Oh one more thing. Murderers may only murder in one way once. For example, you can use a knife as many times as you like however you can only slit someones throat once.
Ok I'm now about to choose the murderer and once the first murder has taken place I will give the coroners report to stonedsilly to post.
