I have tried everything!!!!
It will display my e-mail address OK, but my name????????
NO NO NO NO NO!
Please help me!!!!!
I wouldn't normally soil a message board like this, but I just don't know what to do!!!!

Don't lose your panties, everything's cool.
In the "My Account" section, there is a "Preferences" link which now works. You can go here and change your "external name". This is the name used when posting a top level message. When posting a comment, your username is used. Why the distinction? I don't know, no good reason. The "external name" is originally populated based on the name and email you entered upon registration.
If you click the thing that says "user info", it will take you to a list of all the messages you've posted. To this list in the near future I will add the list of messages you've posted comments to.
If you click the "My Account" link, it will take you to a list of messages you've received. What does this mean? Well, for example, if your username is "miksmix", you can actually receive email at miksmix.at.ubersite.com and it will appear on the "My Account" page. This is *not* a full mail client, so don't plan on using it as such, but at one point in time that was the plan.
Incidentally, this is how the "Automated Submissions" work... if you send an email to submit-humor.at.ubersite.com, it will appear in the list of automated submissions under the Humor category. There are a couple of email aliases setup like this, so feel free to ask if you are interested.
