Well, well, well. Looks like some country stars are gonna going on a tour and Bruce Springsteen is their boss. Tell you the truth, I am not a big fan of country music, but.. What gives an artist a moral right to give his fucking opinion about politics?? I mean he did not go to college, he plays fucking guitar, what does he know anyway?
Look at Dixie Chickx, however you spell it. Three fucking blondes against the president. Did they major in political science in college?? I dont think they even graduated high school. What gives them a moral right to influence all the stupid people that listen to their trashy music.
Same goes for actors by the way.
But I guess if somebody changes their opinion about the president based on a country concert, is a dumbass by definition. Those people should not be allowed to vote, but it's hard to filter them out. Anyway, don't be so fucking stupid and change your opinion because of some dipishit musicians. But whatever

If I've learned anything after going to college, it's definitely that I have friends much more intelligent than myself that either dropped out or did not attend altogether. In many ways, college is nothing more than a cop-out for people that really don't know what they want.
Think of all the morons you encounter throughout college--do you really think that they are all automatically smarter than someone who skips college to write computer programs and make millions on their own? This is an extreme example, but you see where I'm getting at.
Oh, and you don't have to be influenced by a musician (you shouldn't), but if their message happens to coincide with many of your beliefs, why not go to a political concert? Criminey...

also, you seem to confuse 'educated' with 'intelligent'. i know people that can think for and inform themselves (intelligent) far better than people who've been told what other people think (educated). i'd much rather trust their opinion than someone who went to school on the subject.
