So, they didn't know about the drug test? Right, yeah, the Olympics (and every other sport for that matter) haven't had drug tests until this year. It's understandable that he didn't know there was a drug test. Sure...
Ok, so why didn't he show up for the hearing about missing it or the second scheduled drug test. Hmmm, maybe because he was DOING DRUGS!?
All those Greeks are getting their panties in a bunch because these two dimwits were supposed to be their big stars in the Olympics. Sorry, Tokatos, I guess you're favorite son couldn't stay off the body-nitrous for long enough to actually compete.
He claims innocence? Oh sure, the best way to prove your innocence is to miss the second drug test and scheduled hearing and just drop out of the games altogether. Wow, what dedication...what resolve! He must NOT have been on drugs after all.

Loki- no I don't think they were taking anything. I was talking about performance enhancing drugs. They have to draw the line somewhere, and they have a no tolerance policy. I think it is too strict, but it isn't my choice. I just wanted to point out that if you let that slide, then next time someone could take a drug that makes them sharper and more awake and blame it on a day-time cough medicine.

I seriously doubt that she was smoking crack and pulling off the kind of shit that got her the gold medal. Have you ever taken a drug test, do you even know how those things work? Right now at this very moment, I would test positive for heroin, a drug I have never, ever even considered taking. The reason is that about 45 minutes ago, I took 10mg of a Type II controlled narcotic commonly called "Adderall". It is prescribed for ADD and I've been on it in various forms and dosages for years. There are all kinds of things that can cause a false positive on those things. I doubt they really dug into what caused the cocaine trace since she had already admitted to taking the cold medicine, but come on do you really think that an Olympic gold medal winning gymnast is secretly a crack head?

I always feel sorry for people like that romanian, but how do you know they aren't taking some shit like cough medicine to cover up other stuff? Since you don't know if the chemicals came from the cough syrup or some drugs, you got to ban them both. Her team doctor should have known better.

Loki- Andrea Raducan was the gymnast... she tested positive to sudafed mixed with crack cocaine, thats why she was disqualified.

This does sound like utter crap, but I felt really bad for one of the Romanian gymnasts in Sidney when she had her gold medal taken away because she took Sudafed for a cold.
