I got my student loan and I went out and bought a computer, like a mother fucker! I know I should have gone custom but for various reasons and perks, I bought a compaq from Best Buy with some bells and whistles. It has a cd/dvd burning drive and 160 megs. It's not too fancy but it will do. Anyway, I was wondering where I can go to download all the old NES and SNES games. I got a controller and I am ready to rock out Super Mario style. I know this isn't a long post but the juices will be flowing again and you will get more STREETjuice.

I was looking for Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Super Punch Out, Super Mario Kart, Paper Boy, Mario 1 and 2, Street Fighter 2, and anything else that's cool. Fabish, I was talking about free downloading.....hehe, I don't think nintendo is too worried about those obsolete games. Also, Galaga, Pac-Man, frogger, and games like that would be cool too. You are right. The best is playing on the real machines.
Now, those things are going for ALOT of money now. A console itself with 5 or so games will probably be $50. You're better off hitting a pawn shop.
Now, for EMULATION purposes: Check out IRC. There are a few IRC networks that are into trading ROMS.
Here is one Server:
irc.emuparadise.org
and go to channel #emuserv
I hope you know how to use IRC, otherwise...don't bother. Heh.
(Type !list after you get into the channel for servers. Someone is bound to have NES/SNES roms)
Usually people bundle some roms on the p2p networks like morpheus and kazaa, too.
make sure you go to www.clrmame.com and download that killer app. so you can verify your ROMS.
(I checked the channel and type !K-SNES and you should get an fserv with roms. I don't know if he had a long queue).
