I've got nutgrass. I don't know how it happened, but its all over the place. The shit itches like crazy and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. Every time some new nutgrass pops up I just have to pluck it. But it keeps coming back.
My wife is pissed too because she has it now. She says its all over her lawn. I love mowing her lawn, but every time I spy some new nutgrass I freak out.
My neighbors are concerned as well. They see me outside scratching and plucking. I think they are worried that it will spread to them.
If anybody has some suggestions on how to get rid of this crap please let me know.

i have never had a problem removing my nutgrass. no itchiness or soreness ever accompanied its removal. the rest of my yard looked absolutely wonderful after it was gone. mind you, it is always good to keep the lawn consistently mowed, to give it that well-groomed look. if you ever get nervous about your nutgrass coming in thickly and want to remove it immediately, just grasp it carefully by the nut and slowly glide smoothly across the nut grass's surface with a blade. after cutting, apply luke warm water to the site of the nutgrass removal to reduce irritation.

hahhaha, bonus.....to get rid of that eyesore, just apply some topical depillatorie, wait a few minutes and that nut grass will flake away. for really coarse nut grass, use some type of shears to trim it down, then apply the lotion. warning: nutgrass may proliferate and spread if kept unchecked. use depillatories atleast once every two weeks on area to be treated. do not allow nutgrass to spread to neighbour's or loved ones.
