I can't sleep and I've never wrote a poem so here goes:
A breath of air and sigh of relief
The grounds been tiled and full of seed
My eyes open with disbelief
All the dirt is covered with weed
I pull and pluck
Pick and care
I just smile and
Run my fingers thought my hair.
The summers sun is hot and wilts the crop
The well is far and nearly dry
I'll carry the water; I can't stop
With my sweat, it will grow twice as high
That fool on the hill,
He must be mentally ill
Every year he works and toils
And puts his seeds in hostel soils
Every year his crop wilts and dies
He is only lord of the flys
You can't stop me, I'll never quit
So gather round and have a sit
Watch the fool work in strife
I love it all, my simple life
