Yes, a question for all. I am more than likely going to order a bass from http://www.wishbass.com but I would like to know if any of you know of any good custom bass designers in a similar style and comparable price to these "Wishbasses". Thanks.

Oh man...
-2 for Wish Bass. They're garbage basses - I've heard only very bad things about them. There's a reason they're only $300...they're crap.
I'm a bass player - been playing for almost 18 years. My advice: save your pennies and get yourself one of these: www.ritter-basses.com
now that's some hot shit - works of art - and they play like god...I mean...if god were a bass.

The finish on those bases looks really high-school-project-ish.
I would also wonder about the structural integrity of the neck and where the neck connects to the body - because of their weird shapes. I say that because it would suck if the neck would warp due to either the tension on the strings, heat/cold & dry/humid expansion.
I would recommend picking up an old fender (or whatever) for cheap and modifying it yourself.

wishbasses are really ugly, if you want a custom bass why don't you get something that doesn't look like I crapped it out... like a warwick or an ernie ball
