I've seen a lot of polls about which band is better than the other, but none are ever about blues artists. So I decided to see if anyone here was into the blues. Muddy Waters or Leadbelly, you decide.

Muddy Waters was more influencial than Lead Belly. Both sum up that blues era where people couldn't play their instruments very well but they could definetly communicate their ideas. Maybe John Lee Hooker is a more well known example of that where he couldn't play guitar to save his life but when that guy was singing you didn't care.
Led Zepplin stole tons from Willy Dixon. I met Dixon when I was 18 years old and didn't really know who he was save for a giant black man that had a friendly laugh and intimidating hand shake.
When I found out more about him and got turned on to his music I was in shock. Zepplin wasn't influenced by Dixon, Zepplin just ripped him off.
Dixon died with next to nothing and is largely unknown but I bet the internet has some of his tunes somewhere. You should check his story out. He lead a fascinating and influencial life but no one really knows his name.

I am afraid that it might not be easy to take posts seriously from someone who named themselves after a GREENDAY album title.

Muddy.
-1 for a multiple choice poll with only one question, two options, three sentences, and zero picture.

Muddy Waters. I give him extra points because Zeppelin got Whole Lotta Love from him.
