Let all the worlds fall.
Let them all spin out of orbit and be lost to the dark. I'd stand on an edge and watch it all drain down, like so much refuse for disposal. May all the good be for nothing and the beauty you see in your life wilt and fall to the ground, the petals of your flower stomped beneath the feet of the masses.
I want to witness a great crash, I want to be there when the facades fall. Let the tower come to rest amidst it's own dust and the sun that's warmed us for so long turn a paler gray than the moon. I want to see the sun weep for the warmth it's lost.
Let the courage go to waste, allow the faith to be for nought, may all the love in the world amount to nothing more than a pin prick of light ingested by the dark. May you all fail, may it all fail. May the inner workings rust and the cogs of the great time clock lose teeth, spraying reality to the furthest corners. Let the worlds fall, and let no one remember the joy of a laughing child, or the pride that comes with age.
Let there be demons, let there be fire and ennui. May there be no rock to hide beneath nor a dead tree with shelter. Let the sparrow, just a speck of hydrogen, appear beyond God's sight and may it fall, no longer provided for.
Let the bowels of the earth groan and tear, the skies filled with the wings of hideous beings carrying the children off to their new homes. May there be no solace, no sleep; may all the world know the despair of facing forever on broken legs with no crutch.
Let the armies lay down their guns and cover the battlefield with tears; may they know the extent of their futility.
Let the people (the huddled masses, the penthouse suits, the in-betweens) learn that they are useless, that they do no more than fill pieces of space, that their last breath shall be as ridiculously fruitless as their first, and that nothing between has been of consequence.
Let all the worlds fall, and may you know that they go without a bang, without a whimper, and without a reaction, result, or repercussion.
Let all the worlds crash and fall, and may you know that as you fall with them, nothing we have done or felt has been of any importance whatsoever.
