Well, actually, it was for one lady, but she is gone now. So I offer it to the world now to be raped and torn apart...have fun! Don't bother telling me that the lyrics are a conceptual rip off of John Donne, and about every Romantic poet who ever lived. I already know this. This is how she made me feel though. It's a love song, that's it. Take it or leave it...
Also, don't bother ragging me about quality, the mp3 encoder I used was shitty on this one. Excuses...Excuses...

Like the tune, man. Nice vocals. Smooth melody. The post was great until you listed the lyrics in paragraph form. Just makes it a little hard to read. The pic was cool, too. I'm stealing it for my collection.

I can deal with a Cat Stevens comparison.

The girl I wrote that song (and half of the songs I've ever written for) has a daughter who I helped raise 'till she was 5. She LOVED Moonshadow. It was her favorite song. Maybe someday I'll write her story, when I'm in a particularly sad and nostalgic mood.
