In lieu of Rizzo's bold prediction last year, (http://www.ubersite.com/m/18527) I am going to make another prediction for the Eagles.
As much as it pains me to admit it, the Eagles will not make it to the Super Bowl this year.
I love Philadelphia sports about as much as any poor american can. The emotional rise and fall that this team has caused me over the past few years has been excruciating. I'm still going to watch every game with every bit of passion as always, I just don't see it happening.
There is always something that keeps Philly down. Wide receivers, defense, quarterback, just to name a few. Every year after the last game, it's always "maybe next year..." I'm fucking tired of that shit.
This year is supposed to be different. This year we actually have someone that can run for a touchdown at any given time. So, why give up when the season hasn't started yet?
Irony is a cruel thing. The reason we are going to lose is because we are expected to win. Look at what happened to the Phillies this year, they crumbled under the pressure.
Or, maybe I'm putting this out there right now in hope that history will repeat itself and the opposite of a far off prediction will happen. And fuck you Sideburns, and fuck you loki, and all other Panther fans.

I have trouble keeping interest in hockey during the regular season, mainly because they don't show the Flyers around here on a regular basis like they do with the Eagles/Phillies.
Not like there is gonna be a season this year anyways...
