My fellow Ubersiters,
There comes a time in everyone's life to stop and reflect. To reflect upon where we've been. To reflect upon where we are. To reflect upon where we want to be.
Today is August 29th, 2004. One year ago today on August 29th, 2003, we had 5435 users. Ubersite just recently eclipsed the 11,000 user mark and as I'm writing this, we've surpassed 11,200. What happened? What has drawn such a crowd? Why have six thousand people shown up at our door? How did you psychos find this place?
Google. Maddox. Bored at Work. I heard about it from a friend. I met a crazy haired guy with glasses in a bar and he wouldn't leave me alone until I agreed to sign up. However it is that people found this place, something made them stay. They like it here. They like you and me and us and everybody else.

Ah yes, I remember the days of last summer, when there were just about 1000 users signed up. Sadly, quantity and quality rarely go hand in hand.
