You've got more than 294 million people in America right? So how is it that you can't field one single decent possible presidential candidate for your "awesome" country?
Could it be that you need at least $1 million bucks in chump change to even get past the starting gate? America, the land where anything is possible... As long as you've got lots and lots of money. So actually not much different from anywhere else in the world then.
So why is it that you think you're superior to everyone else in the world? Because your media propaganda tells you so and you swallow it hook line and sinker. Fox News is a case in point. News? It's all fucking views - right wing 99 per cent of the time. It's sensationalised and plays like a soap opera. News anchors on that channel aren't credible or impartial, they're celebrities. Yet it is the fastest growing cable channel in the US. That says something about America and it's scarey. Then there's all the jingoistic nonsense, flag waving and congratulatory back-slapping. Well here's some Shakespeare for you. "The lady doth protest too much."
In Communist countries you are told that people are never told the truth and that State media censors news and propagates lies to mislead the public. In the US you have media outlets and individuals that doctor their 'news' in the same way and it's endorsed by the Government as free speech. You are not forced to believe it you believe it of your own free will. What's more sinister I ask you?
So Bush is now being hailed as "one of the greatest American Presidents". How is this possible? This is a man who prior to being President had failed in almost everything he turned his hand to in his personal life. He was a complete failure. He doesn't give a damn about what anyone thinks about him. He's ignorant of anything outside American culture and plenty of stuff within. His communication skills are appalling. His body language is that of a small man trying to be big, ie something he isn't. He is a disgrace to the legacy of previous American presidents. He is a speck of dust when compared to men who really made a difference to their country and the world like Kennedy, Lincoln, Franklin and others.
He is not "one of the greatest American Presidents" you call him that because you hear it everywhere in the media so it must be true. It's called brainwashing. And fuck does it work. You even believe your country is a democracy.

You say that Bush "doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks of him." Why is that bad? Maybe it's about time that we, meaning Americans, not you, have a leader who actually stands up and acts for what he believes in. This is MUCH more than can be said about Kerry whose actions are soley political.
Also, you say that "he's ignorant of anything outside American culture and plenty of stuff within." I guess you forgot to mention that Bush is the first and only President who can speak Spanish fluently, which is a major international (outside) language as well as a main domestic (within) language. Who said during his Inaugural Address, and I loosely quote, that "America does not become any less American with every new immigrant, but even more American because of our history"? Hmm, I do believe that that was President George W. Bush.

For those people who do live in America and are bitchin about it why don't you move to a different country if it sucks so much here? How can people say that the most developed country sucks? Yeah it would be much better to live in mud hut in India or something and god damn I hate central A/C its just awful. No I don't always agree with the government and Bush definently isn't one of the better Presidents but try finding a government that doesn't have any corruption at all. As far as blood on our hands and policing the world yeah we used to have more policy of neutrality except for events in this hemisphere but then WW1 and WW2 came about. It took us havin to bail Europe's ass out twice before we decided it might be better to keep an eye on things. I'd like to see us pull all our troops out of other countries and see how long it takes before foreign governments are begging for help.

You made some good points, but anti-American posts never recieve overall positive ratings on Uber. I guess considering that the majority of people who post on Uber are American, you can kind of understand their "stick your head in the stand approach" when it comes to criticism of their country.
BTW, who the hell said George Walker Bush was one of the greatest American presidents of all time?

we're much worse. the american poeple have blood dripping on their hands and they see nothing and disregaurd the mass-murders they pariticpate in and assist. if you know history there is ample evidence for this statement, such as turkey from the 1990's to present, east timor, and nicargua. all of the media in the USA is controlled by six (6) corporations which aren't even selling news, they're selling audiences to other corporations. the newspaper has an average of 60% ads and 40% news on any given day.
the idea of freedom of the press is only important to those who own and operate printing presses. now they're all owned by rich fucks who think alike. their manual is "Propaganda" by Edward Bernays (head of the creel comission in WW1) i highly suggest you read it if you'd like to see how big business shapes the minds of US citizens.
