(Note: When i say 'fools' or 'idiots' or such, i am not actually referring specifically to you. Im talking people in general, and that's to whom it is written.)

Yeah. I said it. I'll say it again. I'm tired of you fucking Bush haters. I dont like Bush. I dont like Kerry. Im not a democrat or a republican (hey guys! news-fucking-flash! America ISN'T a two party system!). In fact, I dont really support much of anything that's going on with our pitifully great American government.

The whole point isnt my stance on how we should do things, or how we should change things (although weed should be legal. plant=not a drug), or who should be president. Even if I told you, you wouldn't care. I know you wouldn't. Wanna know how? (Say "Yes") Because I dont care what other people post on this site concerning how things should be changed. I don't care about their opinions. They dont matter.

They dont matter because those people arent going to do anything about them. They're just gonna talk. They'll never organize a rally, or pass out flyers, or do anything to actually remedy the problem. They just bitch. All talk and no action.

That's why i hate Bush-whackers (Ha! Bushwhacker). All you people do is bitch and piss and moan. "I'm gonna kill George W. Bush"

Like fucking shit you are. You're gonna sit there and whine about it. You're not gonna get off of your lazy ass to do anything even remotely radical. You arent going to start a revolution. You arent going to have people rally behind you. You arent going to go down in the history books. You know why? Because you're too dumb, too lazy, and too ignorant.

There's proof for my thinking too. Want some? I won't even have to cite any sources. Just look around you. How many people do you know that bitch incessantly about Bush but dont do a god damned thing about it? How many?

Too fucking many. Shit, there's posts on the front page as I type this proclaiming that they'll do something ridiculous. That they'll "stop the evil president" or some shit like that. No, no you wont. You'll sit there in your underwear, eat your fucking Cheetos, drinking your Coke, and watching some fucking Futurama.

Not that i have anything against these things. I like Cheetos, Coke, and Futurama. But those things do not change the political state that people so adamantly bitch about. Like they know the ins and outs of law and politics.

Just shut the fuck up already. I dont bitch about shit like that because it's pointless. It is. You arent going to change someone's opinions on fucking politics. The only thing you can do to contribute, is vote. Realisitically, you could set up rallys, organize conventions, and pass out flyers. You could protest on the streets, or make picket signs and march in front of the Capital. But you dont.

The most the average American does to contribute to the running of this government, OUR govnerment, the one that protects and upholds our values, is vote.

And nothing pisses me off more than voting. Because people have become brainwashed to the point that there's only two choices for whoever runs the country. AMERICA ISN'T A TWO PARTY SYSTEM. GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. WE DON'T HAVE TO CHOOSE THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS.

Fucking fools. Some will think, "but we're just throwing our vote away if we vote for someone else."
No, you're not. You're contributing. You're putting in your opinion on which American citizen could best run this country. If everyone picks a third party, or non party candidate for that matter, then your vote wouldn't go to waste. But no, people will still vote democrat or republican because one or the other party vaguely resembles one line of beleifs that they may or may not still hold.

Fools.

I guess I can't say much more, considering this was a post about people bitching and doing nothing about it. Look at what I did. I bitched about people. But the difference is, I willingly participate in the way this country is run. In fact, by writing this, I am acting. Hopefully, I am influencing at least one of you to think.

I vote for whom I consider to be the best person to run this damn country. Fuck if they're 35. Fuck if they have enough money to run a fucking campaign. Fuck if they're black, jewish, or a woman.

America isnt about picking between two parties. Voting is about doing your country a service. When you vote, you're telling everyone else in the U.S. that your opinion is that whoever you voted for is most suited to run the country, pay off our debts, keep us out of war, keep us safe, and, most importantly, make sure that this great land of ours will continue.

You're doing a great disservice to this country if you pick "the lesser of two evils."

I guess I got kind of off track. The point of this post isn't politics, its just a big SHUT THE FUCK UP to all you people that make incessant remarks of how you're going to change things, then do nothing about it. Go kill yourself. Gah.

Okay, yes there are other parties.

But.

Until those parties prove themselves on the grounds of state and local governments and can amass grassroots and PAC support that proves they can get their candidates into office, the Democrats and Republicans ARE the two parties of American government. A huge percentage of political success cmes from being able to gloat over your party's achievements. Important thing to remember: American voters are very often short on attention span, long on stupidity, and generally ill informed. I know. It pisses me off too. But that's reality. So unless you can present, on a silver platter, a melange, as one may say, of achievements, you will NOT be in national office.

We live in a democratic republic. That means that the majority picks the people who will make the decisions for the whole. If you can't even win over a minority in the form of a constituency in state or local government, how can you possibly presume that you can win a majority of the nation? America will cease to be a two party system when a third party can prove it has the ability to play ball with the big boys. Until then, shut up and go volunteer for your local third party candidate for mayor or governor if you really want to make it happen.

Ummm, I like your title. And I agree with that statement. After that ya kinda lose it. This is a 2 party system, sorry it is. Pick one, or don't. If you vote for whomever loses you're throwing your vote away, technically. Either way, If you dont vote, you can't bitch that's the rule.

Oh, and from now on I think any political bitching needs to be prefaced with who you voted for(or if you didnt). Not a law mind you just a suggestion.

Sketch you're up your ass with the whole 2 party systemn denial. Its well know that in theory its not a 2 party system but the reality is that it is. Name a single non republican or democrat who has actually posed any political threat to either party at the polling booths in your lifetime?

Ya cant which makes you full of shit.

I for one am glad Bush is going to be re-elected. A vote for Kerry is a vote for the emasculation of America, and I not ready to see this country bent over a chair and ass-fucked just yet.

News flash, the US is a two party system. People try to fool themselves by saying its not but when did a non-Democrat or non-Republican hold the office of President last?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I piqued my own interest there. Millard Fillmore (Whig) 13th President 1850-53. 150 years ago, that is the last non-Democrat/Republican who served as a non-Democrat/Republican during his presidency.

I'm pretty sure I'd feel like a huge hypocrite (not to mention a pussy) by casting the Bush ballot and sitting around in my nice comfortable country while other Americans are getting shot the fuck up in, oh, let's say Iraq. How can anyone endorse killing when they're not willing to lose their own family and friends in the effort? Obviously, this doesn't apply to those not eligible to join the forces.

I can just picture Bush handing his two daughters M-16s and a bag of grenades as he sees them off overseas to help his cause... not.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's an all volunteer army. It's easy not to go to Iraq: Do NOT enlist.

But of course, you would listen to people like Michael Moore who would have people believe we are sending "children" to war and that no congressman would send their own child. You know what? IT IS NOT THEIR CHOICE. It is the choice of that child.

I was there, so does that mean I have some "right" to vote for Bush now? Funny how my vote, being a "war veteran" and all, would count the same as some liberal-hippie who never went to war.

So think about it...what you are saying is "People who have been through the shit can vote for Bush, but the cowards who sit on the couch smoking reefer can vote for Kerry."

Your arguement is bullshit.

Can't help but agree with you. To hear people talk, you'd think ten minutes after Kerry is elected the deficit will be gone, terrorists will be vanquished, and leprechauns will be dancing in the streets handing out free gold coins.

I haven't seen these terribly inaccurate posts that you're talking about. Even if someone says they want to kill him, their points aren't invalidated.

Normally I don't mind contradictions, but when you're cancelling yourself out completely it just makes no sense. If you're going to go to both extremes, don't write anything until you can make up your mind and back it up.

Bush is a twit. Anti-Bush posts don't need to change my mind, but I've seen a few that reinforce and deepen my opinion. Hidden101 had one that sticks out, Id and McGee both made me laugh. The whole "fact" debate is pointless.

Also, I really like the American Mao thingy.

Not everyone who bitches accomplishes nothing. And people who do bitch accomplish more than people who don't bother considering the situation at all. I would rather have people complain than stop caring altogether.

Don't be naive and technical about the two-party thing.

yes, that's the way it is.. but it shouldn't be. I mean, really, we're not stuck with these two. America could choose differently.

You mention in your post that America is not a two party system. While that is technically true, this country is ran by Republicans and Democrats. You don't see some third party candidate making huge headlines, that's just not what we are used to. While it is tragic, it is true. They say our votes count, but that is bullshit. We can't choose who we'd like to be our representatives. They are chosen for us. Do you honestly think the American public as a whole would be stupid enough to choose assholes like Kerry and Bush if we actually had an alternate option? This is a two party system, if you take the time to break it down.

one more thing

"
Speak for yourself dude. Believe it or not, some people really do take action. Like the million people that showed up in April for the pro-choice march. Like the people protesting the RNC the other weekend. There are incredibly simple actions that even a lazy, disinterested citizen such as yourself can take to change the way things are done. But you wouldn't know because you've never tried.

i dont think this post even remotely pointed that it was directed against people that actively protest. I dont know how you got that idea. This post was about the people that bitch all day, and don't really honestly do anything else.

actually, anti bush posts are spouting mostly untrue "facts" concerning irrelevant things. i was also aware that i contradicted myself. which is why i put it in my post.

really, honestly, how many anti-bush posts have you seen that have changed your political view of him? do you take them seriously?

most of them are just "id kill that guy blah blah blah"

those are the posts i was referring to.
