I have been confused by recent antics on this website. I find this website to be a fairly enjoyable blogish sort of a deal, and when I am bored I enjoy reading, and when I am VERY bored I enjoy posting. However recently I have been disturbed by a trend I have noticed, people getting embarassed by the real disclosure of private facts about them by others on the website.
Here is my main question, how are people like koolmang and habeeb (are they the same guy?) getting information that someone wants to keep private?
I for one always assumed that certain stuff was a joke, like an incredibly good looking girl saying she is dating a web site host who may or may not resemble corey on boy meets world. I also always assumed that when people met up and became friends with people outside the ubersite, in real "meetings" or whatever, that these people knew who was nice and cool and able to be trusted and who was not.
I am not worrying that anyone will divulge anything about me on this website because the few people I have met are cool and would not do that, but also (and mainly) because they know nothing about me that would embarass me at all. They did not take pictures of me, I did not send them to them, they did not break in and steal my night vision video (right) or find my sesame street toys that had been misused.
I live my life under the assumption that God knows everything about me, and I try not to have too much I would be embarassed about in the first place. When that stuff exists, I certainly do not share it except with friends who I trust. I guess my point is that gossip on this website seems to float around with more alarming frequency than the contents of Kerry's phone conversations and as in that situation some breach of trust must have happened.
I think it is an awful thing to take something you know about someone and humiliate them, but I also do not have IM chats on AOL I would be ashamed of except with people I know in real life who will not cut and paste them. Anyway that is my two cents. I am only bored usually after midnight so my stuff gets three reviews, but here is another late night post. Kids be careful who you send pictures to, who you tell news you do not want going around etc. And keep me in the loop! Freaking a, I had no idea about Squattail and the gypsies or the giraffe incident with AJ and the neverland ranch.

Kristen congrats on the baby! No one told me and I never really knew if it was true or not. You certainly seem like you are already on the way to having great mothering skills, and now as long as you have a man around to kill the bugs, you should have a fabulous life :) I thought the sonogram was a joke but I can never tell on here. When someone says they had surgery or were kidnapped by a cult or whatever I am often confused if it is real or not.
Loki I am working on a project in Nashville, why dont you and Seadog come camping over here soon. We need to dry out first but maybe columbus day? Great fall colors by then I am guessing. Plenty of rain so the leaves should be AWESOME!

I agree with this. I've never bitched about my pregnancy being announced on here. In fact, I told about a million people about it plus posted my first sonogram.
What I will bitch about is a certain person's continued obsession over it. And that's only because I want to believe that he has his own life and therefore doesn't need to focus so much on mine.
