Now me, I'm not exactly a big fan of politics because the majority of people on earth are lying, cheating hypocrites. Especially politicians. I'm sixteen, I know I'm constantly told that I'm not allowed to form opinions, if caught vocalizing(Sp?) those opinions 'am usually punished to some degree. I see people all over the world fighting and bickering like children. I see a bunch of men in suits on television lying to millions of people and attempting to manipulate entire countries just to settle a score.
Like Iraq. I don't oppose the idea, I'm all for bettering the entire world. However, making things happen the way they did, going in alone, having many people die, and then having to live with this deficit that it has created, is not my idea of a great thing to do. It just made things worse. To be blunt, it was a mistake. Being an American I am not happy with what is happening, I was once looking into joining the Navy. My grandfather is a very proud navy veteran, and I wished to be the same. However, The way certain people are abusing their power has made me choose not to sign up for the navy (I can do that in school nowadays, isnt that great?). This displeases me. Maybe I should goto Austrailia and fight with their pitchforks, shovels, hoes, mules, and WWII rifles.
Another thing, think about whats been happening. So many people want peace but then so many people are feeling another way... Its like... People have killed some of the greatest people of all time, MLK Jr and Malcom X, someone shot JFK. People every day are trying to kill off peace (literally) because of their own selfish wants or needs. Man, I hate that. Its sad when you should be an optimistic 16 year old (soon to be) man, and instead you're saying 'fuck the government, fuck the world. People are shit' I'm no anarchist and I'm not someone who hates people because of their skin color or beliefs (unless they're so blatantly nonsensical that I want to smack them in the face. Damn KKK). I just want to say: fuck it. I want to move to an island and live with my damn girlfriend until i die because people are idiots. Every time someone steps up to make a step forward for peace a hundred others smite them down and continue their chaotic hateful reign.
