-Nick Connelly-
"Nick! Nick! Nick! Nick!"
The crowd chanted his name as he bonged beer after beer. The alcohol flowed down his throat like blood flows through arteries. Nick gurgled and choked. Some of it had gone down his windpipe when he inhaled accidentally. He lost his balance as he coughed, and fell to the floor next to the staircase. The crowd groaned in disappointment.
Swirls of greys, reds, browns, and yellows obscured his vision. He looked at his soaked shirt and tried to wring it out. Nick coughed once more. Someone started to push on his shoulder to get his attention.
"Dude, if you see Anna, I want you to come and find me. She's the only reason why I even wanted to go to this party in the first place. Got it?" said the person. He was kneeling next to him. Nick squinted and saw that it was Jim.
"Yeah...yeah ok..." he replied, "Jim...Jim help me...help me up, man," he continued, but Jim had already walked off.
Nick grabbed two stair railings, and pulled himself up. He looked around through distorted vision at the people staring at him. Nausea started to take its effect.
"You alright, pal?" someone asked.
"He's gonna hurl," said another.
Nick stumbled forward, as the people around him backed away with each step he made. He felt extreme queasiness in the pit of his stomach. He scanned something to throw up in, and saw a trash can on the far side of the living room. He started towards it in a drunken stupor, until he felt it coming up right that instant.
"Shit, he's gonna blow," yet another commented. It sounded like the person who first spoke.
He sprinted towards the food table, and puked directly into the punch bowl causing some of it to splash onto the table cloth. The people watching the incident groaned, laughed, and some even clapped. The yellowy brown chunks mixed with the red punch and the alcohol that it was spiked with mixed with the beer he had bonged.
He staggered towards the nearest couch, and fell face first on it, out cold.
Nick awoke with a start on his back, and someone's hand down his pants.
"What the hell are you doing?!" he rubbed his eyes and recognized the person. It was Anna Gerald, Jim's girlfriend. She smiled at him and then moved her head towards his crotch. She was obviously drunk.
Nick didn't push her away. He honestly didn't think it was really happening and that he was still sleeping. When her mouth met his head, there was no mistaking that he wasn't dreaming.
"What are you thinking?" he said as he pushed her face away, "Jim's your fucking boyfriend, you slut. Get off me."
"Oh, c'mon, Nicky. Don't be such a party pooper. Let's have some fun," she said and went for his manhood again.
Nick again pushed her away and realized that Chris Benner's party had somehow morphed into an orgy. The lights were dim, the music was soft, and everywhere he looked, people were copulating.
"Whoa," was all he could think of.
"Nicky, I never knew you were so big," said Anna in a slurred tone.
Nick continued to get her off of him and noticed someone watching them at the bottom of the stairs. He was laying on the ground and his head was bleeding, but there was no doubt that he was looking directly at Nick and Anna. It was Jim.
"Oh, fuck. Jim, it's not what it looks like, man. Your bitch was on me while I was sleeping. You gotta believe me," Nick said, getting to his feet.
Jim stood up. He was obviously stoned. The band was still wrapped around his arm where he shot up, and he had a nosebleed from snorting. He also had a smile on his face. A sinister smile. He went straight to the food table, picked up a butcher knife near the burgers, and cut off the band. He started towards Nick.
"Jim listen to me. I didn't want her to do it. I don't know how much you saw but I was fucking sleeping," said Nick, backing away from his best friend, heading towards the front door.
"Sh-shh. Shut....the...fuck..." slurred Jim, "the, the fuck..."
"Up?"
Jim swung the knife towards Nick, but he opened the door quickly and shut it. He fell on his ass outside on the porch. Jim opened the door and ran out with Anna close behind him.
"Jim, stop it! He didn't do anything. We were just havin' some fun!" she yelled. Jim spun around and gashed her across the face with the butcher knife. She let out a blood-curdling scream and ran around the yard blindly, crashing into the parked cars.
He turned his attention back to Nick, who was trying to run off to Jim's Impala. The keys were always left in the ignition.
But Jim was too fast. He caught up to Nick and gutted him.
"That'll teach you..." he said and stabbed him thrice more as Nick was sprawled on the ground crying and swearing, "for...cheating with my girl."
"Jim... we had some good times, man. I don't... I don't..," the blood flowed out of his mouth as he spoke, "...I don't think that this party was one of 'em though," he let out a slight chuckle as the life passed out of him.
Jim got up and looked at the body of his once best friend. He looked at the knife. It was covered in black goo. It was blood. He turned around to see people looking out the door and windows in aghast.
"Oh my god..." he dropped the knife. Rob Spencer pushed past the crowd and up to Jim.
"Dude get the fuck out of here. Someone called the police. Get in your fuckin car and get as far away from here as you can," he said and led Jim to his car, opened the door for him, and slammed it. "Leave" he mouthed.
Jim started the car, which took some effort, and sped off down Parker Street. He looked in his rear view mirror to see the silhouette of a crowd of people standing in a circle around Nick. The only source of light was coming from the porch of Chris Benner's house.
He veered right, down Pleasant Avenue, and drove through the pitch black upper-middle class neighborhood.
"Why am I driving?" he said aloud. He tried to remember what had happened but couldn't. His attention to the road faded as he started to pass out of consciousness. He had overdosed.
The 2002 black Chevy Impala flew off the side of Harper's bridge, missed the water, and landed on the grassy knoll. Jim rolled out the door, onto the grass.
When he finally awoke and re-entered his car, he saw that there was blood all over his clothes and seat.
"Must've been a hell of a party," he said.
Seconds later, a bright light from atop the bridge shined down on him.
"James Conrad. Step out of the car with your hands up where we can see them," said someone over a loudspeaker.
It certainly was a hell of a party.

Something about this just didn't click with me. The three-viewpoint thing was a cool idea, but it didn't intertwine in the way I had hoped.

It was implied in the first one that Jim had a girlfriend, yes. Jim telling Nick to tell him if he sees Anna was directly taken from Part 1.
