Entry 1
At one he began to speak in complete phrases often astounding nearby strangers.At two he conquered many of the most difficult musical pieces known.
At three he began learning calculus.
At four he had mastered calculus and advanced calculus.
At five he took up ice skating and gymnastics.
At six he was the ten and under champion in both.
At seven he began writing his first novel.
At eight he finished the novel and watched it skyrocket up the best seller charts and watched it stay there for twenty weeks.
At nine he taught himself french, spanish, german and italian.
At ten he began training for both the winter and summer olympics.
At eleven he took home three golds in the summer games.
At twelve he added four more golds in the winter games.
At thirteen a bully bashed his skull in for being an uppity asshole.
Guess it pays to be normal.

Entry 2
Nothing is forever. Everything that lives dies. Buildings topple, wood splinters, and rocks crumble. Even emotions fade. Anger resolves, joy depresses, and frustration clarifies. But isn't there an exception to every rule? Yes there is. Love. Love is forever. If it wasn't then it wouldn't be special would it? No it certainly would'nt.------------------------------------------------------
I love my girlfriend. We had some good times and we had some bad times. Like the time we went to the beach at 3 am and swam most of the morning. Then the next day we both had to call off of work because we both got really sick. Then we lied in bed all day talking. That was a good time.
Or the time I was 4 hours late to a date that we had made. It was our 1 year anniversery. She was so mad that she went out of state for 4 days;one day for each hour. When she got back, her apartment had been painted her favorite color, new carpet was laid, and there was a candle light dinner prepared in the dining room. She cried tears so thick with happiness that they could have healed sick children. That was a good time and a bad time.
Let me tell you about a very bad time.

"Dude she cheated on you. Are you just going to let her walk all over you like that? Come on man you gotta drop this bitch!"
The words poured over his lips thick, like callous syrup. This was my best friend, Darren. He was always good at jumping the gun on things. Thats why he never carried a relationship. But some of the time he was right in his insanity.
"I dont know that yet. The only thing we have right now is hearsay, and I'm not willing to let that spoil my relationship if it turns out not to be true. Besides, I love her."
I knew in the back of my mind that it had to be true, but I'm not one to jump to conclusions.
"Why would the person that she cheated on you with lie about it?"
He had a good point.
"Maybe so he can feel big and start something. Luke doesn't like me to begin with and this just gives him a reason to fight with me."
"Well whatever man you do what you gotta do, but tonight we're gettin smashed!"
Alcohol was always the solution to his problems. And his solutions to my problems.
He drove to a party way out into the middle of no where. As we drove I counted the streetlights until they disappeared. I hardly noticed the trees zooming by the window.
"Man we're not going to Matts place are we? You know what happens everytime we go there."
"I promise no drugs tonight."
"Thats what you said last time."
Matt was my old dealer. He was rather rich from this business, so he built a house way out into the woods so he wouldn't look so suspicious with all of the people going in and out all of the time.
His house was brick and three stories high with a big open balcony in the front of the house. Once, an addict fell off the balcony at one of his drug parties. The rest of the house was pretty standard except for the giant living room window. He spent most of his time there where he could see people pulling up.
The area outside of his house was packed with cars. Nice cars. We looked kind of odd with our 89'Cavalier.
"Dude whats with all of the nice cars? Normal people don't drive stuff this nice."
"I know," Darren said with a pathetic resolve in his voice.
"SHIT. IT'S A DRUG PARTY ISN'T IT?"
"Yes."
This is something I didn't need. Drugs weren't going to make my problem go away and neither was alcohol. I should have been out gathering information. I needed to know what was going on and I wasn't going to find anything out here.
"Darren I don't want to be here and I need to get some stuff done. Give me your car. You're not going to be able to drive tonight anyway, so I'll come pick you up tomorrow."
"Man come on this will get your spirits up."
"No it won't. It's going to avoid the problems that I need to deal with ASAP."
"Alright, just don't wreck the damn thing."
"No problem. Thanks Darren."
I drove faster than I ever have before. I hit three cats and two raccoons. I didn't care. I needed to know if what happened really happened. I went to the place where I knew Luke would be. The all night coffee bar. He spent most of his free time there just like most other night dwelling people did. You could get coffee, food, and drugs. It was just his kind of place.
I drove by slow to see if he was inside. He sure was. Sitting at the bar, looking smug. Probably telling the same story he told Darren. The same story he was sure to tell me.
I pulled around the back to the parking lot. The lot had a few cars in it but no people. Thats good. No witnesses in case things got ugly.
As I walked into the coffee bar, the smell of ground coffee and clove hit my nose. Clove latte was their most popular drink, also the only drink Luke would order. The bar was fairly empty for a saturday night. Maybe around twenty people compared to the usual forty to sixty. As I re-cased the bar I saw him laughing it up with some buddies. I approached, prepared for the worst.
"Hey Luke."
"Hey if it isn't... pukeface!"
His crowed erupted in laughter.
"Mind if I talk to you outside for a second?"
"Hey, needle dick wants to talk to me outside fellas! Well why not."
I turned and walked to the back of the bar with Luke in tail. Oh Luke, I knew you weren't that smart.
"So what do you want asshat?"
He made a smug face that I could have used the pavement to scrape off. But I needed info first.
"Did you fuck my girl?"
"Oh yeah that,"he said with a chuckle. "Yeah the other night at the party. She was sooo drunk. But she wanted me. She screamed. Wanna see the scratches on my back?"
It's go time.
"FUCKER," I screamed as I threw a punch that would level a man of any size. He tried to dodge back but it wasn't enough. Instead of connecting with his jaw, I hit his throat.
"Oh no."
"..." He ghasped for air two or three times before he hit the pavement. I must've destroyed his windpipe because he started spitting up blood when he hit the ground.
"Oh shit," I said as I ran to Darrens Cavalier. I had just killed a man. Over something that might not be true. I drove to my girlfriends apartment where she would be asleep. She worked two jobs so whenever she had time off she slept. I needed to hear it from her. I had to confront her.
I crept into her room so I wouldn't startle her. I sat down on the bed next to her and just stared. I was looking at the girl who convinced me to get off of drugs. Who, alone, drove away 6 years of chronic depression. The only girl I ever loved. And I cried. For the first time that I can remember since my dog died when I was 4, I cried. I cried silent tears of anger and sadness.
"Rachel honey."
"Mike? What are you doing here? I thought you were going to that party with Darren."
"I didn't go. I saw Luke."
"Wha-."
"Yeah Luke."
"Oh no..."
She bawled. I've never in my life heard anyone cry that loudly or that much. She told me everything as she cried. How she was so drunk that she fell off of the toilet. That Luke followed her in. And that Luke fucked her there as she lay on the floor of the bathroom. And that she was too drunk to care. In fact she was too drunk to not love every second of it.
I got up from the bed and faced the door.
"Lukes dead."
Rachel looked at me like I had personally crucified Jesus.
"Why? Why did-."
"Because I love you too much. Because no one should get away with the shit that he did."
With that I left the room, then the apartment, and then the complex. I walked to the Cavalier and got inside. I turned the ignition and drove off. I was blind with sadness. Tears welled in my eyes so high that everything became a blur. I drove for hours crying the whole time. As I made my way around the corner of the block where Rachels apartment was, I hit something. This time it wasn't a cat or racoon. It was a person. It was Rachel.

After the accident, Rachel never walked again. After I served my sentence for killing Luke I moved in with Rachel. We've never had a problem since and I still love her to this day. The appartment she live in was dozed a while back, and both of our parents have passed since. Darrens Cavalier broke down, and so did he after the party where he injected way to much heroine. He went into a coma and his parents pulled the plug. On the way home his parents got into a car accident and died. So much has ended. But not my love for Rachel. That will never end.

i vote for entry #1 because at least the author of entry one didn't prolong his shitty ass writing.

it's possible. your trachea IS right below the skin, and is relatively easy to crush, given enough force in the punch. hand-chopping someone in the throat is the second easiest way to kill someone unarmed.
Number 1: Hit their nose upward with the heel of your palm as hard as you can. Guaranteed death.
Number 3: Break their neck. Requires the enemy to be weak enough for you to get them in a
headlock, so it's more difficult.
Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.
Jamming their nose into their brain is NOT the easiest way to kill someone. It has to be done at just the right angle, otherwise you'll just break the nose.
Breaking someones neck is by far much easier, but everyone is wrong as to what is the easiest way to kill someone.
In "slamming their nose into their brains" they could still live
In "breaking their neck" they could just loose the abbility to walk or some other function
and crushing someones trechea is not that easy.
No no, the easiest way to guarentee to kill someone is to strangle them: after 30-40 seconds they go unconcious, then just keep on holding: Then they die.
I'm sure you're a martial artist who knows all about these things, and I'm mearly a veteren, so of course I'm wrong.....

I liekd the jist of Number one, but the idea that someone could only spend one year training and then win three gold emdals at the olympics is fucking ridiculous. that shit takes at least two to three years of specific training, after 5-10 years of general training and lower level competition.

I am very sorry, but I could not in good conscience vote for post 2 after that ending...
You had it clinched all the way up until you hit your girlfriend. If this is somehow true, I guess truth is stranger than fiction, but it looks to me like you wanted to take the normal death title on Slovin's body count list. One was just stupid. Two was good but the ending got really shitty at the end. The way things turned out was just fine but the way you told the story was just all thrown together like you ran out of time and the story had to be told in 30 seconds. You can do better in the next round.

Example...
You turn 11 on August 1st 2004 and compete in the Summer 2004 Olympics help August 17-29 2004.
You turn 12 on August 1st 2005
The 2006 Winter olympics are to be help Febuary 11-26 2006, 5 months BEFORE you turn 13.
