Ok, this is a song my friends and I recorded this weekend. I had not planned on putting it up here. I haven't seen a reason to post any more songs till now, seeing as noone ever seems to care. However, in light of the recent news about Gibberish, I thought this might be somewhat appropriate. Plus, as the self-proclaimed Elton John of Ubersite, I don't want to miss my opportunity to cash in on the tragedies of others. So, here it is...particularly this one goes out to Gibberish and Silvrwolf...(when it begins, may your journies be filled with music!)

Silvr...The song about the well is the one you're referring to...
my friend John Wheatley wrote the banjo part which was the basis to the song...I wrote the lyrics. That one is called "My Bloody Valentine".

Sorry, I didn't mean the last rating, I wouldn't know what to rate it because I didn't read it. A song is not a song without music. I just wanted to know if the computer adds in the No Comment bit when someone rates and does not write or if people actually bother to write No Comment in. Apparently its the former. So now I know.

Oh man! I was just listening to Upward I Stumble, and track 8 raised the hair on my neck. I'm not a huge fan of bluegrass- or folk- type music, but the story in that track is too excellent. What a freakin' kick-ass song! What's the name of that one and track 3 on the same album?

BTW: This one sounds like it's missing something because it's a rough mix. We haven't done any EQing on any of the instruments, so they're all just raw and live. Plus it hasn't gotten any mastering treatment yet because we're waiting 'till we get an album's worth of material first. If you think the sound is bad on this one, you should hear some of the shit I used to do when I was recording analog. =)

song seemed to need something......like maybe the distant voice of a man far down below....Instead of the Hanson-like sound......like a man singing from a unwired stage hundreds of feet below you....in an echo-like sound....Like Filter does in "CANCER"...gives the listener a sense of despair and loneliness...I dunno....who am I to say?...I'd love a chance to produce someones stuff
