A story I started to write, I know you all will probably rip it apart...but I just wanted to share it. so here ya go
I
My name is Tyler Eastman, and I am in love with the most beautiful girl in the world, at least, she is too me. When you see pictures of her, you might not think you are seeing something special, but you don't know her like I know her. You don't know how patient she is when things don't go her way. You don't know how sweet her spirit is, and how every word out of her mouth is raising you up. You don't know how I...how I melt inside every time she smiles at me, you don't know. I still feel like I can fly whenever she tells me she loves me, every single time. You don't know when how when she sings, it's like an angel has stepped down out of heaven and written a song just for your heart and it's happiness. You can't sing like that and not be beautiful. You don't know how whenever I still think of her, no matter where I am, it's like she's right there with me. You don't know her like I know her. I know her, and I am in love with the most beautiful girl in the world.
My angels name is Sarah. My Angel married me 27 years ago, and I'm still the happiest guy in the world. If you want, I'll tell you more about her. Trust me, you will fall in love with her just as much as I did that summer when I was 16.
II
I was sitting underneath a tree near my Fairfield county Ohio home; she was walking along the road in front of me, singing. I was in love with music. Nothing, I thought, could replace my love for music. I was always singing, through the halls of school, in the choir at church, in my car, even in the shower. Where I was allowed to breathe; I had a song on my lips. So as I sat, I tried to piece together some lyrics for a song I was writing. Then when I was about to write down a new line I had thought of, the breeze carried her voice to me, and I was mesmerized. I sat up, and eagerly listened to what she had to sing. I had never heard this song before; I started to wonder if she wrote music too.
"With your love, I could fly, and will do so, until I die. Love like this will never end, there is no hurt it can't not mend."
Her music took my breath away. Such simple words, but the meaning was so deep and beautiful. I was lost in thought, so many thoughts going through my head. I wanted to talk to her, so much. I wanted to get to know her and that beautiful mind that gave birth to such beautiful music.
"Hi"
I was brought back to reality very quickly; she was standing right in front of me, with a quizzical look on her face.
"I'm Sarah, nice to meet you." She was standing in front of me, with the sun shining on her brown hair, and her brown eyes were shining at me, just like her smile. She was so beautiful; I didn't know what so say.
"Hi, I'm Tyler." My voice had squeaked when I said that, my face was probably 20 shades of red at this point.
"Well hey Tyler! It's wonderful to meet you. What are you doing sitting here?" She was so personable, and the way she talked took all my fears and uneasiness away. She was always good at that.
"I was just working on some lines for a song I'm trying to write."
"That's wonderful! I write songs too; actually the song I was singing when I walked up was one of mine. Since you have heard one of mine, why don't you sing one for me?"
"No, I would be embarrassed."
She looked at me in another beautiful way making my heart melt even more with a look of why not? But I just couldn't, it would be an insult to her beauty.
"My song isn't finished, and even when it is, I won't sing it for you. When you were singing, my heart was filled with joy, and it was like your words were speaking directly to my soul. I don't ever want that to go away, and I'm afraid my voice would do just that. I hope you will sing for me again."
"Well, thank you for the compliment, I don't think your voice could be that bad, but if you want me to sing again, I will." She closed her eyes, like she was feeling the music inside her, and began to sing another song. This song was slow, and was in Latin. It was beautiful. I didn't know what words meant, but the passion she put into them, the meaning with which she sang them, I didn't have to know the language to know what the song was saying. It was a song that started off telling of love, and how happy and wonderful the time they spent together was. Then, her voice became foreboding and hopeless from losing that love to death. By the end of the song, I had to drop my head to hide the tear journeying down my cheek.
"Are you ok?"
"Yea, that was just, simply the most beautiful, yet sad song I have ever heard. Where did you learn that song?"
"I didn't learn it, I wrote it. I wrote that one about a year ago after, well, after a rough time."
"I'm sorry, did you lose someone you loved?"
"Not yet, but enough about this, gotta get home."
She turned and started to walk away, visibly upset by the conversation we had just had.
"Sarah, I'm sorry if I brought up a bad subject, please don't go away angry."
"No Tyler, it's not your fault, I'll be ok. Goodbye Tyler."
I ran after her and said, "Wait, please, when can I see you again?"
"You want to see me again?"
I had only known this girl for about 15 minutes, but there was something so special about her, the kind of special that you want near you at all times.
"Yes, please, I want to see you sometime soon, I want to hear you sing, I want to see your face, I want to hear your voice, I just want to be with you."
I mentally kicked myself, I had just blurted out all these new emotions and feelings I had for her, and I was for sure that she would be offended and run away. But, to my surprise, she stood there, and smiled at me and said,
"Same place tomorrow?"
Wow, she wants to be with me too, "Sure, thank you, so much."
"My pleasure, until tomorrow Tyler." Then, as she walked away, she suddenly turned around and said, "By the way, I will get you to sing that song. I promise you that." Then turned and walked towards her home.
I sat back down underneath the tree, and watched her walk away until I couldn't see her anymore, what an amazing person. What were all these feelings in my heart that I've never felt before? Where did this girl come from, and why was she so sad about something that happened a year ago? I had no idea, but I was so excited at the chance to find out.
