I got a GOOD question. If suicide is illegal, then how come they say in the police reports:
"The man shot himself in the head."
Why don't they say?
"The criminal shot himself in the head (because, when he shot himself, he committed the only crime in his life!)"

i would guess it's illegal only because it is immoral.
and if it was legal, that could lead to problem with assisted suicide (which i agree with btw)

Of course attempted suicide is a crime, because they have a better chance of punishing the afflicted. I'm just saying, why not tarnish his record and produce a police report saying he's a scumbag?

This would be a good question, Koolmang, but unfortunately for you, it's not.
Suicide is not a crime as one cannot prosecute a dead person.
Attempted suicide is a crime.
