<< GREEN LIGHT >>
Mr. President, c'mon now. You need to stop.
I've listened to you repeatedly insult the intelligence of our troops ... and our citizens.
Tonight you have said time after time after time, "If you say the war is wrong, what kind of leadership is that?" You have implied that our troops -- and our citizens -- need us to "stay the course" ... and not change "our strategic beliefs" to feel good about themselves ... and what they are doing.
Unlike you, Mr. President, our troops read the paper. Our citizens watch the news.
We all know what is going on. Here in America. Over in Iraq. All over the world.
Our troops -- and our citizens -- understand that the premise for this war ... that Saddam Hussein was an imminent threat to America's security ... that he had weapons of mass destruction ... that he and his regime had a connection to Al Qaeda ... well, we all know know that these justifications have now been proven INCORRECT.
They understand -- like I do -- that, in hindsight, our invasion of Iraq was hasty and ill prepared.
<< YELLOW LIGHT >>
Our troops and citizens also understand, Mr. President, that we are NOW _IN_IRAQ, and we need to do whatever it takes to make the best of the situation ... to win the peace ... to help bring Democracy to the Iraqi people.
All of us seem to understand -- except for you, Mr. President -- that we cannot "stay the course." The original course has now been proven wrong. We have to take actions NOW to ensure success in Iraq.
Now by saying -- no matter what we know now, no matter what we have learned from the past year -- that our troops and our citizens will BECOME CONFUSED unless we "stay the course" ... is an affront their intelligence.
<< RED LIGHT >>
Leadership is based on honesty and trust, Mr. President. Admitting that the original justification for this war was fundamentally wrong IS_THE_TRUTH.
If you tell the truth, people will trust you. If people trust you, they will follow you. When people believe, and trust, and follow you, that's called REAL LEADERSHIP.
Our troops understand this. Our citizens understand this. I understand this.
Do you, Mr. President?
<< BLINKING RED LIGHT >>
On more point, please ... Jim.
Fuck you, you ignorant self-righteous motherfucker.

The real question is how many WMD's do we need, and of what type, how strong do the connections need to be, and was Saddam fucking nuts enough to use them?

You can't confront a liberal with the truth, they know nothing about. For instance this debate was fairly even matched, no one came out ahead IMO. But, bush folks will say bush won, and kerry folks will say that kerry won.

I don't believe I've seen an ass-kicking this thorough since Pedro Martinez last faced the Yankees.
I fully expect to see George Bush call John Kerry "his daddy" in a post-debate interview.
