School sucks, that's true. But what sucks even more is the bullshit they make you do while in class. Since the title suggest so, group-work shall be a prime example.
Let's say you're in a class where you dislike pretty much everyone for a specific reason. The teacher will be the shepherd and say "Okay, sheep, get into groups and do this and that!" and the people you know in that class, if they aren't sitting next to you, they'll backstab you and pick the people beside them, and the assholes beside you will not pick you, and you'll feel like a useless potato. Childish, I know, but so is the concept. Whenever it occurs, something inside me, not for stupid reasons, says "This seems like a stupid idea!"
Oh, and I've experienced in high school the follies of being in groups, or even pairs. For one food class project, my partner was "sick" on multiple occasions, leaving me to do all the work. Group-work is also stupid because SOMEONE has to get it done, and the teacher doesn't really mark or monitor those who don't do shit.
If you're in a group, there's the odd asshole who thinks they know more than you, and won't let you get a word in edgewise, since they're the ones writing. I figure let them, they'll get us the marks, and I won't have to use my jaw muscle.

Whatever you do, don't sign up for an online University after school. They are primarily group work.

I did take your advice and go get battlefront though. It is OK, but physics defying. The blaster blasts travel so slow, way slower than bullets. Would have thought that beams of light would travel at the speed of light. And if the beams of light were travelling at a millionth the speed of light, they would be firing at a 90 degree angle. I don't know what to believe....

Yeah group works sucks. Unless you are with your friends, and everyone does a fair share of work. But most of the time, group work sucks ass. Unless you have a hot or cute girl in your group.
