You may think this is a radical view of mine, and I agree.
I am a hardcore liberal person, and as such, my views have been influenced as such.
I say, when the Democrats attain power, we should impose the following "Freedom of speech" restrictions:
-jail for those who protest abortion
-suicide is legal in any case, those who try and prevent it are locked up
-the Bible is banned, and a new one put in its place which says "YOU ALL GO TO HEAVEN, DUDE!"...and that'll be the Bible
-more gay bars, gay bashers get life in prison
-any black people who try the "affirmative action" or "race card" technique get locked up for mischief
-Jews who cry "ANTI-SEMITE!" get locked up
-college will be free, and the corporations will pay for it
-stem-cell hamburgers will be made, and they'll be delicious as fuck, anyone who protests it will get locked up
-Hitler would be cloned, but rehabilitated...somehow, though his ashes are long-gone by now
-the U.S would be forced to get rid of ALL its nuclear bombs, and hope the world follows suit
-circumcision is banned, any parents who force their boys to get it get locked up and parental rights denied
Today we live in a society of Right-wing freedom of speech overriding the Left-wing freedom of speech. I say it's time for a turnaround, and to witness a new dawn, when people can do ANYTHING they want as long as it isn't imposing on the rights of another U.S CITIZEN (not a fetus), and the Christians will have a hard time protesting with tape over their mouths in a jail cell.

But isn't throwing someone in jail "imposing on the rights of others?" The rights of the one thrown in jail?

You forgot to read that, in this special case, it's a CRIME to try and stop a person from doing what they want to their OWN body, and results in jail time. Isn't that a strong deterrent from being an asshole, though?
As for them being Christian, it's Christians that protest ethical issues more than anyone else.

I have yet to hear of an agnostic who would protest abortion. Random Joe, you admitted you believe
in God. I do not see abortion as murder because, a) the brain activity of a fetus before the 'it's too late, give birth then put it up for adoption' limit is less than that of a cow's. Aborting such a baby is no more murder than slaughtering a cow, and b) because I don't believe in an afterlife. Those aborted babies' souls aren't collecting somewhere (purgatory, I believe the Roman Catholic Bible claims, for infants who died before being baptized).

They bother me for one, how is that? I am not a very religious person. I do believe in God and Jesus and stuff but I haven't been to church for five years (no, not even at Christmas). I strongly support a strict seperation of church and state, BUT:
I do think that abortion is wrong. Not because "God" tells me, but because it is murder, and ethically wrong. It doesn't make a difference if you kill a fetus or a baby, it's both murder
Gay marriage, stem cell and all that Jazz is fine though. Euthanasia is so fucking wrong... They have that in the Netherlands, a recent study shows that over 50% of the old folks were "put to sleep" without ever giving their consent.

I suppose this could be considered a religious post, but also political, since conservative views come from the Bible. These right-wing protestors think their views are "sacred". It won't be so sacred when they're switching their prayers to ones of "Get me outta this cell!"

I thought this was a religious post. George Bush's policies spawn from his religious beliefs. Since an ideal president would be completely logical, why would anyone with a bit of common sense vote for a man who believes in a magical god up in the sky, telling him through the bible how he should govern his country?

Also, if people want to get circumcised, let them get it when they are 18 and can decide for themselves. Of course at that age it is a lot more complicated and the patient has a stitched, swollen and bleeding dick for two weeks after.
