So, the other day, I'm computing along, downloading and allowing active-x's with impunity, or "going unwrapped" as I like to call it, and my computer starts acting funny. Everything is running really slowly, and my starting webpage has been changed to www.nugs.net.
"WTF," I say to myself, because I hear the kids are all talking in acronyms these days. "Must be a virus."
So, I fire up my trust pull-start 2HP Husqvarna virus scanner, only to find that it would only sputter. The plugs were fine, so I tried an old fashioned reboot.
So, after getting my steel-toes on, I figured that I could try again to figure out this virus thing. After scanning my hard drive for newly created executables (the easiest thing to look for), I came across one called "biodieselvwvan.exe." Of course, I'm a complete asshole, so I right-clicked on it to check the properties. All of my suspicions were put to rest when I saw what popped up next. I was doomed.
