He steadied his long knife, and plunged it into his abdomen. Grimacing with pain, he reached back with his other hand, feeling the sharp tip of the knife poking through his back.
He pushed his hand down onto the sharp tip, feeling it pierce his palm. He winced in pain, and began to drag his hand back and forth, over the tip of the blade. Faster and faster, feeling the blood shower his back and run down to the floor, until his hand was just a bloody rag hanging from his arm.
He was beginning to lose consciousness.
He drew his arm up to his head, and smeared the wretched pulp of his hand across his face.
Struggling to stay awake, he slid the knife out of his abdomen, bringing it up to his mouth.
He licked the knife along its sharp edge, severing his toungue and filling his mouth with blood. Crumpling to the floor, he felt his life bleed out of him.
Several moments later, he was dead.
