One of the biggest digs I hear against Kerry is that he's a "flip-flopper". And if you ask for examples you'll hear that he's taken both sides on the issues of Iraq.
What a crack up that anyone would have the audacity to call Kerry a "flip-flopper" but support Bush. I think Bush should have a copyright on the term. This ass hat has flip flopped on damn near ever political issue in the arena. Iraq, Abortion, North Korea, Environment, WMD, Free Trade, the list goes on and on. But for some reason no one is talking about it. Isn't it obvious that America is being played by the
Please America! Open you eyes! Do some research, read a little, listen to some news besides the big 3 networks. I don't claim that Kerry is the next great thing. I really don't. But since we have already seen how screwed up Bush can make this country why would we elect to have more of it? If you're not going to support Kerry because he is a "flip-flopper" than why would you go and support someone who his gone back on damn near every important thing he has ever said??

Here is another good one...
BUSH OPPOSES THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY..."So, creating a Cabinet office doesn't solve the problem. You still will have agencies within the federal government that have to be coordinated. So the answer is that creating a Cabinet post doesn't solve anything." [White House spokesman Ari Fleischer, 3/19/02]

...BUSH SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY "So tonight, I ask the Congress to join me in creating a single, permanent department with an overriding and urgent mission: securing the homeland of America and protecting the American people." [President Bush, Address to the Nation, 6/6/02]

Alright, I didn't believe your quotes. I knew Bush was full of shit, but I didn't think he would directly contradict himself, a day apart. Actually I checked the links, and the MSNBC one was updated on September 2nd, so I don't know if it was originally on the August 30. Anyway, they would still only be 3 days apart. So I thought you must have taken it out of context. But you hadn't. What you said checks out at the sources.
We have a lying, manipulative, doper in office.

If you think I'm making this shit up, please just ask if you'd like speech dates and links of Bush changing direction. There is far too many to post them all here. No one would read them all.
Here you can see his three opinions on one issue
Bush claims he can win the war on terror: "One of the interesting things people ask me, now that we're asking questions, is, can you ever win the war on terror? Of course, you can." [President Bush, 4/13/04]
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/04/20040413-20.html
...Bush says war on terror is unwinnable: "I don't think you can win [the war on terror]." [President Bush, 8/30/04]
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5866571/
...Bush says he will win the war on terror: "Make no mistake about it, we are winning and we will win [the war on terror]." [President Bush, 8/31/04]

+1 for anti-Bush sentiment
+1 for the test...funny stuff.
To the people who gave this post -2's...your blind faith in Bush is frightening. Wake up. For the love of god, please wake up.
I sat next to a guy on the train into work this morning...he struck up a conversation. He asked if I was going to watch the debate tonight - I responded "Of course!" He asked what my thoughts were about the last debate and I tried to dodge the question because I didn't want to get roped into a debate myself. So, the guy told me his thoughts. He told me that he typically votes republican - he voted for George W in the last election. I started to get uncomfortable. But then he went on about how the whole country has been fooled by Bush. He told me how he can't believe that people are falling for Bush's shit. I was in awe...some of the things he said...I don't even talk about Bush that harshly (usually).
It was nice to see an ex-Bush-supporter with a brain and a conscience.
Stop Bush. This whole planet is going to go down the shitter if he's re-elected.

+1 for effort. (Not +2 because I just saw this picture and it says, "He forgot Poland." You can't just throw out a sentence with a pronoun like that when it stands alone.)
And remember kiddies:
"No man has received from nature the right to give orders to others. Freedom is a gift from heaven, and every individual of the same species has the right to enjoy it as soon as he is in enjoyment of his reason." - Diderot

Apparently you know nothing of politics, nor do you go about being ignorant in a clever way. F-
==================================================================
My statement didn't proclaim a knowledge of politics or make any attempt at being clever. It was a plea for people to open their eyes and at least be consistent. Get some information, be informed. If Kerry's biggest fault is that he is inconsistent on issues, and Bush is worse, why would anyone still vote for him?
Sorry I'm not sure who it was you were trying to impress, but if it was me, you failed.

If "Bush and co. just managed to convince people that is was a bad thing" why is it not twice as bad for him as he is the one on the offensive on the issue?
And quite honestly it doesn't matter if this has been done before, half of this country still supports Bush and most don't even know why. This post needs to be done 100 more times on every blog. And hopefully people will figure it out.
If you research whatever reasons you think you support him, i.e. security, taxes, debt, military, etc I know you'll find that he doesn't stand for anything that the propaganda machine would like you to believe he does.
I laugh when someone tells me that they vote Bush because they know what he stands for. HAHA
