The little girl ran as fast she could, desperately trying to escape her attacker.
Sampson was only a few paces behind, wielding a javelin in his right hand.
He hurled the ancient weapon, watching with satisfaction as it pierced into, and through her back.
She screamed and fell forward, burying the tip of the javelin in the grass. Slowly, her body slid down the length of the long weapon.
He pulled her off the javelin. She was wailing and spurting blood onto his clothing, which pissed him off even further. He place one hand behind her head, and jammed her eye down onto the blunt end of the javelin that was sticking up from the ground. He scooped the remains of her eyeball into his mouth and smiled.
He thrust his hand into her nose, effectively stifling her sobs and screams with her own blood. It was time to get down to business. He slammed her down to the grass.
"You have something I want. If you tell me where you're hiding it, I won't have to go looking for it."
The little girl coughed up some blood. It dribbled down her chin.
"This is your last chance."
The little girl coughed again, spurting up blood that landed all over her own face. Sampson was not amused.
He pressed his thumb into her eyeball as hard as he could. He could hear her choking on blood.
He tore open her abdomen. Wiping the blood from his face, he kept digging. He ripped apart her liver, her kidneys. He had to find it. It had to be here.
He reached his arm up into her chest, pulling out one of her lungs. He was drenched in her blood. He reached his arm back into her chest and yanked out her heart. It was warm. He was so sure that it would be here, but he couldn't find it.
He stood up in utter disgust, and threw her heart at her bloody face. Stomping his foot into her gory abdomen, he collected his javelin and walked off. Next time, he would find it.
