It amazes me that Anne Rice, famous and rich from her writing, felt the need to respond
to internet insults. Her book may well have sucked. I haven't read any Anne Rice in years.
My favorite is Feast of All Saints.
How would she handle a "-2 Die"?

Anne Rice always has and always will, Rock my world.
The Vampire Chronicles got me me through many lazy days in the Melbourne sun, sitting in coffe bars and at the banks of rivers and in pubs, living the life of bloody Riley.
If and when i make it to New Orleans i am going to go to her house, knock on her door and tell her how utterly made of awesome she is.
I hear she likes that. Be nice to return some of the good stuff she has given me.

I can't understand why she's complaining. Each and every review on Amazon represents someone who bought her book, thereby giving her royalties. Regardless of whether they liked it or not, she should be laughing all the way to the bank. Some people are never satisfied.
