That bastard Gibberish pushed me down to number 39. He's gonna be on the MVA soon with his whole tracing over the Mona Lisa and fake "I'm Dying" bullshit. We know it's going to end with him saying, "That double bypass heart transplant recovery arthritis tendonitis melanoma cancer was cured by the Polish doctor, my life is saved!"

But onto another matter: rape.

I'm so fucking tired of these women on here shitting themselves and trying to give a guilt trip to people who joke about rape. I constantly see Lojo and other crying and shitting about how it was such a painful and life-altering experience, and how it takes so long to finally trust a man again.

Seems like some dumb bullshit to me.

When I was in the 4th grade I knocked heads with a kid so hard that I was unconscious for a few minutes and had a gash on my head that required 37 stitches to close up. When I see a story about someone getting hurt or having an injury, do I tell them that what they said was offensive and hurtful to myself because I've had the same thing happen before? Of course not.

Why can't rape victims just brush it off as a bad life experience? I mean shit happens, get over it. Rape is just another pile of dog shit you step in during the parade of life, just wipe it off and keep on going. We don't need you or any other rape victims to constantly cry about this awful experience.

I'm not saying that all rape is the woman's fault, but why do women suddenly have a change of heart when they are with a guy? Most women put themselves in the situation where they are going to be raped, so why not just treat it as consensual sex. Lojope said that her rapist was a guy she knew, it's not like he was some complete stranger that walked out of a back alley, bashed you on the head and raped you behind the dumpster. She was probably fooling around with him, being flirty or something, what do you expect a guy to try to do? If you don't want to have sex or do sexual things then why lead him on in the first place? Fucking piece of shit.

What I'm really trying to say is that I don't think people should give all this sympathy and attention to a story about someone that got raped or a rape victim. Shit happens, and rape is one of them. Get over it.

Yeah, I imagine it must be a pretty horrible experience, but these rape victims seem to think that their horrible experience trumps any mans horrible experience, and that's what annoys me.

If men are from Mars, then I grew up in the shadows of the Mare Sirenum mountains. One of my most cherished fantasies as a boy was to be sexually used by an full-grown woman, to be used as her plaything. Violation never crossed my mind, because there was nothing a woman could do to me that I would have not enjoyed--outside of torture. But if a man did such things to me, I'd have been way, way less enthusiastic. But I'd still have gotten up the next day and jumped trash cans with my bike. It wouldn't have mattered. That may not be how all guys think, but that's my view. I won't attempt to cross into how women feel about the same, that's ground angels fear to tread.

I get frustrated with a lot of the weeping and sobbing, too, but I understand it more than you do, it would seem. I like Lojo's writing, but I do get kind of turned off by the frequency of posts about or references to her rape. So...I don't rate the posts or reply to the reviews. It's easy. Don't get involved. That way, you can simmer in resentment, and they can have whatever catharsis or attention they can recieve, and everyone continues on living, because it's just something you read here at Uber, and you can click away if you don't like it.

I can understand your frustration with the rape stories on here and also the number of "incidents" that get called rape. But whatever point you were trying to make, you could have been much more eloquent about it, rather than coming out with a blanket statement like "Get over rape." The sad truth is most rape victims don't report the crimes because they're too ashamed or afraid. And rape isn't a big deal... until it happens to someone you care about.

If you can't understand the physical and emotional trauma of rape, just remember that men can be raped just as easily. I hope you never end up in prison.

I don't agree that rape is something to be brushed off or that women put themselves in these situations by flirting etc. But I do agree that far too many people are using rape and shit like this as a way of scoring ratings and sympathy on this website.

enough already. how many more people are going to say the same thing about how lojope, and everyone else, is a milker blah blah blah. I bet if half of the guys on this site didn't eat it up then lojope, and everyone else, wouldn't milk it.

I agree with pretty much everything AlwaysAnEagle said. I also think that everyone deals with trauma in their own way, and sometimes it's difficult to understand the way someone else chooses to handle something. It's quite common to assume that because a certain way of learning to live with something works for you, then it should absolutely and completely work for anyone else in the world. Some people do find the best comfort in simply forgetting, but that doesn't mean that others can not or should not find solace in talking about an event that has had a major impact on their lives and become a part of their identity, and far be it from me to deny someone their method of healing.

I don't think a self-inflicted injury and forcible sexual assault are really comparable.

Hmm, you do make a good point, but like someone below me said, rape isn't just physical, there's a lot of emotional shit involved too. But, you know, unless you've walked a mile in thier shoes, and all that shit. On a side note, I heard that little bow-wow got raped by one of his security guard people. Never did the research to see if it's true or not, but thought it was funny.

I understand your frustration...to a degree.

Rape is more than a physical issue, more than bonking heads with some other kid. And even though I hate, hate, HATE when people pull this card, I think this is one of the few things you might have to be a woman to understand. (And before anyone starts in, I KNOW men get raped, too. But the post focused on women, so for now I'm going to stay there.) When you are a woman, you are going, most likely, to run into situations where you are going to be treated as a second class citizen. It's not all the time, really, but let's just say that women's lib was great and all, but in a lot of ways and places, it's still a man's world. For many women, their body is the one thing that they have control over all the time, that they call all the shots on, that is exclusively theirs. To have someone violate that is a pretty major thing...it takes away a place to find quiet solace and to rely on. That is why it isn't something to make fun of. And maybe you think this sounds like FemNazi propaganda about the Male Oppressor, but it's not meant as such. I'm 21, I run my own business, and I've worked in government agencies, and between those things and a few others, I can feel the glass ceiling just fine...maybe it is FemNazi propaganda, but I'm not hallucinating when some guy listens to a presentation half-assedly and then asks if I want to go out for a drink later in this tone that says he paid a lot less attention to my business plan than to my hemline.

Rape is no one's fault, and it's not fair to blame the victim. No means no, period the end. And it's NOT fair to be all "yes yes yes" and then regret it later and say yes meant no - women who do that are no better than true rapists, preying on emotional destruction. But no does mean no. A short skirt or making out with someone, or whatever, doesn't mean you have a free pass to fuck, and it doesn't mean the victim "had to" or "promised" sex. It means she made out with someone.

"I'm not saying that all rape is the woman's fault, but why do women suddenly have a change of heart when they are with a guy? Most women put themselves in the situation where they are going to be raped, so why not just treat it as consensual sex."

That sounds eerily like a rapist talking. Most of the time if a woman says she was raped, she was, and the fact that she was wearing a short skirt or that she had the audacity to *gasp* be friendly to a stranger does NOT mitigate it. Would you rather go to a bar or a party and have no women there at all, because showing up to talk to your dumb ass would be "putting themselves in the situation to be raped." I bet you're the kind of guy who calls a woman a bitch if she doesn't answer you when you say "hi" to her in public. But you wouldn't blink an eye if she took your advice, started responding to every man who gave her some attention, and one of them happened to rape her. "She was asking for it, she shouldn't have said 'hi' to him." Or "She shouldn't have gone to that party and drank, even though I do it every weekend." What the fuck.
