So, as I wrote these next two I realized that I've never given "the Survivor" a name. I'm not sure that I could go the rest the way without him having a name so he gains one here even though i like the idea of him remaining nameless. Let me know if it all comes through all right and thanks for reading!

Paulette and I walked along the water's edge, she reached for my hand and I gave it to her. My plan was to walk around the perimeter of the island, and then try to climb the peak in the middle. This task was like so many others my group faced, nothing to it but to do it. So we walked. We saw lots of wildlife, a few wild boars, sea birds, a huge tortoise, snakes, and countless bugs. Paulette couldn't seem to get far enough from the snakes, she literally jumped into my arms, I didn't mind though, she was a very attractive young woman after all. It took us about three hours to come full circle, we hadn't seen anything that would be terribly helpful to us aside from the animals we could use for food.
We turned inland and started walking toward the peak. It was slow going, the brush was thick and the footing treacherous We slowly worked our way to the top of the peak, having to backtrack a few times to get through the tangle of vines and deadfall. When we reached the top we were taken aback by the incredible view. It felt as though we'd reached the top of the world, our view was unobstructed, we could see for miles. We stood and surveyed the land and water around us. The island was a jumbled mass of trees from here; in some places you could just see the edge of the beach before it ran down into the ocean. The ocean, a deep aqua marine in color, had sizeable waves on it now and as we looked to the west we could see the edge of an approaching storm. As we slowly turned we spotted the crew's "camp". It looked as though some millionaire bought the island and plopped a modest sized mansion down right in the thick of the trees. Paulette wanted to walk down to it so, even though I didn't think it was a good idea, we began working our way down. As we neared the house I told Paulette that if we were separated to meet up back on the peak. We walked out of the trees into a small clearing, our mystery millionaire had planted grass around the house and it was neatly trimmed, giving the whole place a surreal look. The camera crew that was following us stopped us then, told us that we were to go no further, they stayed to the side of us to keep the grounds out of the shot. Paulette turned to the cameraman and told him she had to talk to Bill. As surprised by her brazen request as I was, I was even more surprised when the camera man pulled out a radio and asked Bill to come out to meet his guest.
He walked out the front door of the house wearing shorts, sandals, and a Hawaiian print shirt unbuttoned all the way down. He looked at me with contempt and says: "go back to camp Ben". I told Paulette that I'd wait for her at our meeting place so we could walk back together. She took Bill's arm, and they started toward the house, that was the last I saw her.
I walked back to the peak and waited, enjoying the peacefulness of the scenery around me. I watched the sun set, a giant orange globe sinking into the sea. It was a couple hours later that I heard a gunshot and Paulette's screams. The cameraman told me to head to camp, so I did.

As Ben and I walked around the Island I grabbed his hand. I don't like being alone; the touch of others always makes me more comfortable. We made it around the island and turned toward the peak in the center of the island. Ben carried me a few times and didn't seem to mind when one of those nasty snakes scared the daylights out of me and I jumped into his arms. When we got to the top I immediately noticed the compound on the other side of the hill. Ben seemed to be slowly searching the island and surrounding waters so I didn't say anything, he found it on his own. I knew that if we had a chance to make contact with the outside world I would have to do it. I didn't think any of the rest of the group would have a chance to get close to a radio or phone but thought that I could for sure. So I talked Ben into walking down to the house.
We broke through the trees and into the clearing where a very nice house sat. The cameraman tried to stop us then so I told him to fetch Bill for me, soon enough Bill walked out the front to greet me. He told Ben to make himself scarce and walked me into the house. Ben told me, as we walked away, that he'd wait for me at our meeting place. Not sure why he just didn't say the peak since that dumb cameraman had been following us around all day, oh well, whatever. Ben walked back into the trees.
Bill took me inside this gorgeous house with stone floors, gilded trim work and beautiful furniture. He turned to me and said; "no cameras here sweet heart, what do you need?" I told him that we all wanted to go home, that it was time to stop playing games with us, "we're not animals that you can use to your liking". He looked up at that and said; "oh but you are now dear. We own you now, I thought it was made clear that the only way any of you were leaving was to live through the challenges ahead." Then he stepped closer, grabbed my arms and kissed me, I wanted to pull away, kick him in the balls maybe, but physical affection has always calmed me. I yielded to his kiss and put my arms around him. He led me up to his room and we made love again, when we were done I fell asleep in his arms.
When I woke it was dark out. Bill was asleep next to me, and snoring loudly. I slowly rolled out of bed, put my clothes on, and walked out of the bedroom. I walked down to the entryway again and was about to leave, wanting to tell the others what had happened, except for the part about me and Bill bumping uglies, when I realized this would be the perfect time to look for a phone or something. I turned around and walked toward the back of the house and as I walked through the door of the kitchen I noticed a phone hanging on the wall, standing on the other side of the room was Jeff. He says: "Paulette, I don't know what you're thinking, I told you, I warned you, no interaction with any of the crew beside me. You are disqualified Paulette." I screamed as he shot me then all went dark.

I will read one more today before I leave work early and go to band practice. I think I remember purposely skipping these before because I am completely anti-Survivor (the actual show). Shame on moi.

I am enjoying it, thanks for writing it. :)
I can't imagine how you wrote so many parts to this without it get old, but you must have because they're all highly rated. I look forward to reading all of this.

I considered that but found it too difficult to leave him nameless and couldn't make myself call him the survivor through the whole thing. Thanks for taking the time to write useful reviews. I really appreciate it and hope you enjoy the story. Thanks for reading!

I haven't read this one yet, but I had assumed you had given him a name. In the part 8, Bill talks about a Ben that he interviewed that "rubbed him the wrong way" but Jeff liked, and then says to Jeff that if Ben gets on the show then Paulette does. You had mentioned that The Survivor had liked everyone from the show except Bill, so I made the connection/assumption that this Ben that Bill didn't like and The Survivor that didn't like Bill were one and the same.
But it looks like you've named him Ben below, so all is good. :) Maybe you forgot that you had mentioned him as Ben before?
Also, nameless characters can be good. Sometimes titles, for instance "The Survivor," work better as names because it describes him more than "Ben" ever could, especially once the reader has finished everything and can then recollect on the title/name. So don't be afraid to use this in any future writing you come up with.

Guess you'll have to rely on flashbacks for the old in-out, in-out now. Shame.
At this rate will only manage part 15 or 16 before Ben is the only competitor still alive.
Don't stop now.
