My grandfather was in the RAF in WW2 and thankfully made it home with minor injuries. Over time, he has developed a sort of "racist" attitude towards Germans (understandably so) and Germany. Well, I was listening to Rammstein the other day and he heard the music and tore a srtip out of me for "endorsing the country (he) almost lost his life to". While I respect him laying his life on the line and while I respect the whole mind-set of a veteran, I don't think it's cool to bash me for my taste in music. I don't know what to do here and I was wondering if I could get some feedback.

So does he get like this when he hears Beethoven, too?
That's a bit extreme.

It's quite simple.
Don't listen to Rammstein when your grandfather is around.
In fact, don't listen to Rammstein at all. Ever.
