Well uber, my life has taken an odd turn. My friends and i were evicted last week, and i still don't have anywhere to live. I'm writing this in the university library, because i didn't have enough room to keep my computer, not to mention a place to plug it into. My ex-housemates are all moving into a duplex that does not allow pets, and since that would mean giving up my dog, it is not an option for me. The vast majority of my other friends either live in dorms or in apartments with the same policy on animals.
I can't even sleep in my car, because the seats wont fold down due to having all of my remaining worldly possessions in the back. They consist of:
A camera
A box of important documents/pictures
A garbage bag full of clothes
A quilt my mother made me
Some artwork
My turntable coffin, and speakers
Two guitars
Various other instruments
A box of random music-related items.
A box of records and cds
A seal head lamp
A skateboard
My traveling backpack
My backpack of sketchy and/or illegal items
So i've been homeless. Well, semi-homeless. Semi-homeless and revisiting my roots to be even more exact.
My dog and i have been staying in an abandoned utility shack on the end a pier. As a highschooler, it was one of the many places that i utilized to drink 40's and smoke weed. Now, it's the headquarters of operation "fuck the police" AKA Isaac's Realization of Drifter Status. The shack itself is well insulated, dry, and best of all, utterly forgotten by its former owners, the Georgia Pacific paper plant, and assumedly forgotten by the rest of the world as well. It's about half a mile down some train tracks and over a fence, but still, just in case, i sleep with my switchblade within reach. Georgia Pacific shut down into hibernation a few years ago, so i'm really not positive who owns my current residence. It doesn't really matter anyway. All i know is it's not me.
As we were walking down the train tracks to my car today, i saw a freight that had my crew's old tags on it. Deno, Vandaleyez, Silk Worm, all marked with a 360. It made me feel lonely to see it. I realized that i haven't gone anywhere with my life. It made me want to sell off the rest of my stuff in a desperate attempt just to escape to somewhere else.
I know that somewhere else isn't going to cure me of my lack of ambition, or my stubbornness, or even my starving-artist ideological bullshit i have sucked myself into, but it just might cure me of my feelings of entrapment.
I already have my entire world packed onto four wheels. Maybe it's time to cut ties with life, and accept my status as a drifter. I'm already homeless. And you can be homeless anywhere in the world.

Wah, wah, wah. But really, I can kind of relate as of late. I mean, I'm not homeless but just the whole life thing. Crappy to hear you are in a tough spot. Hope things get better.
