Hey bitches,
Just wanted to tell you a little story to educate our lanky friend, Bart, about. You see, my mom was complaining about internet troubles, and I went to fix the router. I manage to get it fixed after realizing that I was fixing it the WRONG way, and it not only re-connects me to the internet, it gets rid of my Ubersite ban completely! It's as if I was either given a second chance by Bart, OR the resetting of my internet modem has restarted my ip address! If that is the case, then maybe I will stick around a bit more...for I shall have a weapon against Bart.
Can someone please explain this phenomenon?
No, seriously, stop the gay gang-bang, people, and tell me why I'm suddenly allowed back on the site?

Oh, and there's no way he could've just unbanned me, because KoolMang is still locked. Or maybe account lockage and ip bans are seperate things? I'm going to go on the assumption that it was a simple router fix that made me back on this site. I shall test that later tonight by getting myself banned, and refixing my router. If it works, I'm gonna be back for a LONG time!

They are two different things. I think to lock your account, he changes your password to something random that you can't guess, or something that is invalid so that even if you guessed it, it would be rejected. That would be done in his database, or PERL code.
The IP ban is simply either adding your IP (usually your entire subnet) to Apache's config file under the DENY directive, or you can also use mod_rewrite. I'm guessing that Bart is using mod_rewrite to do the evil banning deed. He could also use a regex, and check a server variable, in his PERL code. But that would be the stupid way of accomplishing the kind of banning he does, and Bart is fairly bright when it comes to programming.

Resetting the router usually causes DHCP to hand you a new IP addy, unless you use adelphia, then it only changes when they have a major outage. Most likely Bart unbanned you, by accident or on purpose. He usually blocks whole subnets.
Anyway... Welcome back and please spam me. Stabkill did yesterday with 6 of his usernames and netted me over 6000 hits. Sunday is usually slow, so that is exceptional.
