What happened to Ubersite (1879 hits)

Hey what happened to Ubersite? I used to come here during the summer and this place was buzzing. There would be like 5 new post a day; a post would get 400 hits (and that was the bad ones); and like 30 reviews. Now there seems to be less then a fifth of that production.
To the old heads here: Does ubersite always go through cycles like this? Razor, you're the only name that I recognize from the summer. Is this normal?
And where the hell is Yidele? I used to love to read political debates between Razor and Yidele. I been going through some of the more interesting messages that I missed between August and December, and I don't seem many familiar names.

People come and go, and Ubersite changes to reflect that... as far as the number of postings go, well, Snoop Pupp seems to lay down 5 a day by himself.
SOME older people are around still - lodnem seems to have been here forever, but a lot of the older folks I haven't heard from in awhile.
Yidele I chat with occasoinally via instant messaging (which I guess may surprise some of you since we were fairly bitter foes here on Uber), but i think he got tired of posting here... maybe if we go to war with Iraq he'll be back.
As far as posts with meaning are concerned, I got tired of posting long thoughts and getting one response, only to see a debate about how hot Avril Lavigne is get 10 responses in an hour.
Just go with the flow I guess... if people want to talk politics, philosophy, or religion I'll be right there layin' the Razor smackdown but until then I will lurk discontentedly in the wings and give inane posts the -2s they deserve.
