Last night I watched Boston spank the Yankees. The Cardinals and Astros will be moving into game 7. Actually makes watching baseball exciting for a change.
Houston will win Game 7.
Why? Because baseball is fixed and this world series will mimic the presidential race.
Mass. Vs Texas
Boston will win the World Series - Kerry will become President.

This was a shitty post, but my Sox are headed to the world series. So, i'm in a good mood, sure, why not +2.

I'm sure the boys at ESPN are praying for the Stros to win too, just for this reason.

amazing insight.
As both a diehard Yankees fan and diehard Republican, I strongly suspect that I will feel the same way on Nov 2 as I did last night: intellectually knowing that my team would not win because the other team was better, and that we didn't even deserve to win, but losing still sucks.
And both baseball playoff season and party politics are rigged and predetermined at a high level. Why else would they all go to five and seven games?
Where's hockey when you need it!

No shit - didn't see it - kind of obvious though when you think about it.
