I opened up the sliding door and stepped out on to the patio, she was sitting on the steps smoking a cigarette. I walked through that entire party and not a single person recognized me, there must have been fifty people that I recognized from high school, but I looked nothing like I used to, not better, but different.
This girl I was looking at, I wondered if she would recognize me, probably not. God, I was nervous. We had talked on the phone every other day for two years. We shared things with each other, she told me things that she never told any one else, but we never visually saw each other. We went to high school together, so I remembered what she looked like. I doubted if she'd recognize me though.
She was trying to light up another cigarette but her lighter wasn't working, perfect. "Need a light?" I asked, I am so cool. She looked up at me, and the lighter I had held out. lighting the cig she said thanks and went back to starring off into the darkness. Nope, she didn't recognize me. I decided to sit down on the steps about a two feet from her, she scooted away about an inch. To her I was just another guy trying to hit on her. I had no idea what to say to her, I just sat there in silence.
She pulled out a cell phone and started dialing. Who does she call when she's at a party? Who does she call when she's depressed, like she is now? ME. She called my home phone, I guess I didn't pick up. She cursed, and started dialing again, and put the phone to her ear. Then my butt started ringing, she was calling my cell phone. I decided to answer it, and see what happens when she realizes that the guy next to her is the weird guy that she's been talking to for about two years.
"Hey." I answered in to my phone.
"Hey, what are you up to?" she asked still unaware she was talking to the guy right beside her.
"I'm at a party." I said it low, facing away from her, so she couldn't tell.
"A party? Wow! That's so unlike you." She was right, I'm a freakin hermit.
"Yea, I've been trying to talk to this one girl, but she's just ignoring me." Still speaking away from her.
"She sounds like a bitch." she could be a little dense some times. "Where's the party at?"
I gave her the address of the party, and turned to look her straight in the eye. She got a bit of a confused look on her face, still not looking at me. She turned her head and looked me straight in the eyes. "Holy crap!" She was still talking on the phone, "I'm at the exact same party!" then she keeps turning her head to look into the house, "I'm out on the patio, sitting next to some ugly short guy." I got up and turned off my phone. I walked away from her while she started screaming into the phone. "Hello? Heyzues, can you hear me?! Heyzues?! Heyzues where are you?!"

This type of thing makes me wonder what this person is thinking. Seriously whats the point of, not logging in, not leaving a relative rating, and not leaving a comment.
But this did scare the living shit out of me, because that screen name is very close to the girl's, mentioned above.
