The Conspiracy that Became True

Chapter One:
Who are the Illuminati?

In our lifetimes, many conspiracy theories have been offered to the world. They range from lunacy, such as extra terrestrials crash-landing in Roswell, New Mexico, to the quite possible, such as President John F. Kennedy being assassinated by agents of the Federal Reserve. Whatever the conspiracy theory is, there is little likeliness that it will ever be proven to be more than a theory. In truth, very few even need to be proven, because, in the end, the majority of them are so absurd that hardly anyone bothers believing in them. These types of conspiracies often involve aliens, Big Foot, and other fictional creatures.

One conspiracy, almost constantly circulated throughout the past few centuries, however, concerns a group known as The Illuminati. The actual date of conception of the Illuminati is highly debated. It is known that sometime during the Renaissance period, a group of enlightened members of society who thought science to be the key to enlightenment formed the original Illuminati. Another group, the Bavarian Illuminati was formed in 1776, with many similarities to the original organization. Unfortunately for this Illuminati, the Bavarian government banned all secret societies, including the Illuminati in 1784, only eight years after its inception. Many argue whether any secret Illuminati still exists today, but the possibility of them being an organization secretly in control of the world—as is believed by many conspiracy theorists—is completely unfounded. Or, at least it was until the Cold War.

From the 1940's to the 1970's, many different organizations emerged for the benefit of globalization. Some organizations were widely celebrated, the most famous example being the United Nations. Other groups were less publicized, for example the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, and the Club of Rome. Each of these organizations, as well as others not mentioned here, were suspected by people around the world to be the true Illuminatis. This was probably due to both their suspicious membership of world leaders and the fact that they openly advocated a globalized system of world affairs. In any case, during the mid-Twentieth Century, none of these groups had any real claim to be in charge of the world, and at best could only lay claim to half of it. The reason for this was "communism."

"Communism"—or at least the form of government that came to be known as "communism" under the Soviets—served throughout the twentieth century as the undisputed counter-balance against the so-called "free world" and their hopes to unify the globe under the capitalist system. In the 1980's a strong wave of conservative militarism on the side of the capitalists served as an apparatus to bankrupt the "communist" armed forces. At the same time, through media and other means, the people of the East eagerly submitted to the Western way of life. In the end, the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 and the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. Some of the remaining "communist" nations like China and Vietnam submitted to capitalist tendencies, while others—namely Cuba and North Korea—were further isolated as "rouge states." With little remaining forces standing in their way, the hierarchy of the global capitalist infrastructure—specifically, members of groups like the Trilateral Commission—found themselves as the true Illuminati of the world. Through both trade and military means, leaders of business and government established the figurative "new world order," which eventually manifested itself into concrete associations like the World Trade Organization.

During this time, the Arab world was split on the issue. When the West prevailed in the Cold War, the Arab states—who were former allies of the Soviets—could not uniformly decide on whether to go the way of China and submit to the West, or stick to their principles like Cuba and only be isolated from the greater world. In the end, nations like Saudi Arabia and Turkey engaged the West, while others like Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan chose not to.

Chapter Two:
The US and Global Superiority

At the end of the Twentieth Century, a new age in human history was beginning. The world was seemingly at peace and the Illuminati of the world were firmly in power. Though terrorists and rogue states did exist, they posed only the smallest of threats to the industrialized nations of the world. The United States of America, the world's single remaining superpower, had no adversaries, and the only plausible challengers to the US's global superiority were other ally nations. While this may have seemingly been a great thing for the US, it indeed was not.
To understand the United States' motives at this time, one must understand the history of the US. From its creation, the US has been a nation battling against all odds for a greater success. From the time of its settlers taking dangerous voyages to a "New World," to the rebellion against the English army, to the frontier days of the Nineteenth century, to the World Wars, the United States had always been the underdog, always trying to achieve their American Dream of becoming a great country. It was not until the Cold War that the US found itself as an equal partner in control of one half of the world. And throughout the half-century standoff with the Soviets, the American government—especially military and space programs—were allowed to grow and American companies reaped the profit. But when the Cold War finally ended, what was the need for the US to build more tanks and missiles and helicopters and battleships? The answer was simple. There was no reason. There was no one left to fight.

This was a great problem for the US government. What would happen if the US suddenly reduced its military to one that was only essential for its defense? It was a given that the American war-making companies would continue to exist. And if they continued to exist, they would thus have to sell their goods to countries in Europe and Asia instead of to the Pentagon. The American government and military complex was not prepared to become a global underdog once again. The United States had to find away to keep its military growing and keep the people of the world believing that this was necessary.

The US realized this shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Soon after, the US began treating even the smallest threats as large ones. The United States used its global influence to conduct military operations through a coalition in the Persian Gulf in 1991, through the UN in Somalia in 1993, and through NATO in Bosnia in 1995.

Yet, history is not completely linear. At the same time that the United States was keeping the façade of military threats, the world was changing. The European Union was aligning the nations of Europe towards peace throughout the 1990's. At the same time, the Chinese government began modernizing and gaining international respect. Also, the fallen nation of Russia continued to rebuild itself from its ashes.

Thus, when the US began to make moves at the invasion of Iraq in 1998 (after the US Congress passed the Iraq Liberation Act on September 29, 1998) the UN was not supportive of the action. There was simply no need for it. The US nevertheless proceeded, conducting air strikes along with British aircraft on November 13 and 14. The UN attempted to keep the situation stable, but faced with the bravado of both the US and Iraqi governments, Americans and British once again bombed Iraq on December 16 through 19. On December 21, 1998, France, Germany, and Russia shocked the world when they not only denounced the US's military action but also called for an end to the sanctions that the UN had against Iraq. China was also in silent support of the same objective. Facing global dissatisfaction, the US had no choice but to back down and work with the UN in the matter of Iraq. The US would have to find another outlet for their military aggression. Enter the armed intervention of the US through NATO in Kosovo during 1999. This war was conducted purely because it was a use of force that the US's allies were willing to permit and assist with.
After the Iraq situation, however, the United States began to realize exactly what the world might look like if their military operations continued to be opposed by the rest of the nations on the planet. They had to do something, something that would once again pit the world into an "us versus them" mentality with the US playing the role of the leader.

At the same time, the nation of Israel, who has recently found itself increasingly more hated throughout the world, was very willing to assist the US in any way possible in attacking Arab states and getting global support for their cause. This may explain why the US enlisted Jews, who look very much like Arabs, to conduct the September 11 attacks.

Yes, September 11, 2001. The truth about this event is simple. The United States government along with Israeli spies conducted fake attacks on American soil against American civilians, the American military, and American corporations in an attempt to gain support from their own people and people of the modern world against rogue Arab states.

Europe, Russia, and China would surely all support action against whoever was behind such horrendous attacks. They all feared that they themselves might see such things happen on their own soil. At the same time, Arab nations who cooperated with the West, namely Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan, were all taken in as allies in the War on Terror. In essence, the United States and Israeli governments fooled the other members of the Illuminati into perpetuating US dominance throughout the world. Soon, Afghanistan was invaded and the War on Terror was underway.

Chapter Three:
The War Still Rages

After the invasion of Afghanistan, the United States government did not miss a beat in perpetuating its military and economic objectives. While battles still raged at the other end of Persia, the US prepared to invade Iraq. Yet, something did not go according to plan.
Once again, the greater world denounced military operations in Iraq, despite September 11 being fresh in everyone's mind. The Illuminati was split on the issue. The US assembled a "Coalition of the Willing" with the British, Australians, Polish, Italians, Spanish, and others, while the majority of the world—namely France, Germany, Russia, and China—was still opposed to the invasion of Iraq. Despite the disagreement, the US-led coalition did take over and succeeded overwhelmingly against Saddam's forces.

We are now at a crossroads in history. Whether the United States will continue only being mildly opposed in future operations is yet to be seen. American forces did receive French support in the Haitian conflict of 2003 and similar occurrences may continue in the future.

An ideal situation would be a global uprising of all people against not only the United States, but also the Illuminati who are in power throughout Europe, in the governments of China and Russia, and the corporations of Japan. Though one is highly unlikely, only one course of action can be taken: Resistance. Though massively outmatched, freedom fighters that are now under attack throughout the world must oppose the Illuminati. American forces must be stopped because they have only the worst of objectives in mind. The Illuminati must be stopped because of their only minor discontent with US operations.

THIS HAS BEEN A WORK OF FICTION...right?

There goes that conspiracy theory post I was planning.
You forgot the Knights Templar, and MJ-12. And faking the moon landings. In fact, I'm going to re-install Deus Ex and play it again.

I didn't really follow this well. Is the WTO the modern Illuminati? Or is it the UN, the military-industrial complex or capitalism in general. If so, why is the world divided?

So were you ever going to get along to naming the illuminati or was this just an adventure in confusion?
