Here is my first attempt at compiling a list of who is coming to UberCon LV based off of the comments on the previous post and emails I have received. If your name is on this list, you have expressed some interest in attending the bash (whether real or not). If there is an asterisk beside your name, you have said that you are definitely coming. If anything is incorrect or you want to be added to the list as interested of coming let me know.

Bart will be making the decision (he is the supreme UberBeing) as to where we are going to stay after much strenuous and hopefully sweaty research. We still have almost 5 months so don't worry about needing to make hotel reservations so soon. We want to make sure that we find a good place and get a good deal. Also, feel free to come earlier than Friday if you would like and arrange rooming options within the group (I feel like I'm throwing the Uber Women to the wolves). Loren and I will be rooming together BY OURSELVES.

a) Both are perennial 2nd-place finishers in the AL divisions.
b) Neither has won a World Series in a long fucking time (sadly, I think the Red Sox won't this year either- don't hit me again).
c) They're both overshadowed in greatness by another franchise in the same city. Patriots and Cubs.
d) They both got new managers this year.
So you can see how unproductive our conversations would be.

Yes it does. It's a liability to everyone who's older than 21. We're taking zero chances on getting kicked out of wherever or even arrested because a person under 21 did this or that.
Seriously, it's not personal. You'd probably be one of the coolest people there and wouldn't cause any trouble. But if I let you slide, then why not a hundred other under-21 people? Where do I draw the line?
Under-21 people can't legally drink or gamble. I'm sure we're all going to be doing plenty of both, and I don't want to deal with people getting pissed because we left them behind. I also don't want to have to deal with those pissed off people retaliating by running to the nearest ghetton liquor store, buying a bottle, and getting fucked up to spite us (or even worse, just flat out trashing the rooms, etc.)
Maybe I'm making a lot of assumptions here, but read between the lines - I don't want ANY of those problems, and I'm going to make sure that none of them occur by banning anyone who might cause them.
Again, it's not personal. I'm just drawing the line now before any debate even begins. It's the easist way to do it.
If you're under 21, don't bother coming.

HAHAH. Kristen. Typical of Vegas...people have their favorite spots and would rather stay there usually. I personally like the Monte Carlo, New Frontier (the atrium) mainly for the location and the mexican restaurant...oh, and I won 5 grand there as well), but have stayed at Sam's Town before. Sam's is nice, but off the strip. No good for a short weekend.... On my week I went around in the desert. God damn that place is awesome. Red rock canyon anyone? Rattlesnake antivenin kit anyone?

Seriously, though. That horseracing game Godchicken mentioned is fun as hell. There is one in the new frontier (not new, but they call it that...long story) and I hit 99 with 6 coins in before. Everyone at the table (it was full) cashed in.
Vegas is awesome. And Tom should go. We can get him a fake ID and call him Nick Papageorgio. We can go to the casino with the special games like "Guess what number I'm thinking of" and "Rock/Paper/Scissors".
