I turned 18 last Thursday and so I decided that I'd head on down to the county court house today and register to vote. I walk in and go up to the information desk and ask the little old man where to go to register. He reaches into the desk and hands me the form and mumbles something about how I won't be able to vote in this upcomming election. What the fuck? I asked him why not but apparently he didn't hear me. So I fill out the form and notice that it says I have to register 10 days before the election. It's 9 days before. Shit! Now I can't vote Libertarian. Finished with the form, I hand it back to the old man and walk out dissapointed.
I have a feeling this was Roy Moore's doing.

Sweet Home....
We actually have our own island here, Pleasure Island, (the sand is 99% quartz, whitest sand on Earth, (Google it), and the girls can suck it here. Especially the tourists.

Como horrible! That's about all that comes to mind after reading this. On a personal note though, I would never live in the South, it's just too Southern for me.

Ahmm, it's like that in every state.
I live in Orange Beach, Alabama, and just made it in time to register. A Three Doors Down pic might have been better, they're from Mobile. (We're not all over-fed, under-uneducated stump-jumpers--although I know what you meant. My greatest joy in life is verbally crucifying rednecks.)
