Couldn't this photo be used as recon against you? I would think this sort of thing, posting picures of American bases, would be frowned upon. I wouldn't post any more of them if I were you.

actually no. the base i am on is an old iraqi base. its is fucking huge on top of that. this pic can be duplicated just about anywhere on base. c-wire and fenceline is not necessarily a perimeter line. In this case it just seperates my shop from another shop.
every pic i intend on putting on the net(if it is a pic of post and not just me) i send to the public affairs office first. I got approval to put this one up on ubersite.

I just read some of the other comments, and I have this to say: don't ask anyone in the military if they've ever killed someone. It makes us very uncomfortable (generally) and we'd rather not think about it. Does it matter if TheRef has killed someone? No, he's still sucking it up in Iraq either way. Is that something you need to no? Negative, yet again. Out of respect, just don't do it. And if you hear a guy bragging about all the people he's killed, he's either full of shit or sick in the head.

Electictooth...being in the military myself, I highly doubt this picture is any kind of asset to an enemy. It shows the perimeter of a base, and at that, without much detail. This could be one of several places in Iraq, there are standard operating procedures for building these things and they tend to all look the same. So no, there's nothing wrong with posting pictures like this.

I saw a few hot iraqi chicks...but VERY far and few between. I heard of some folk saying that there were lots of them up north near a Turkish border resort town(Kurds).
Of course, I wasn't about to look at them lest I be shot dead while I enjoyed my meal of goat, beans, and a flat bread similar to pita...and a zillion flies. Fucking iraqis don't even swat them away from their food. Blah...
